Always avoid the manual in any BMW. Reverse is a nightmare. I work at an airport carpark and get into probably 30 beemers a week. Never driven a manual Merc yet...

What? Lol, reverse is all the the way to the right an up, you push down on the shifter to move it into reverse

@@kryptonitefitness Around £450, that is a full service using genuine ZF parts and fluids tho, the gearbox is amazing btw, best Auto I ever drove.

No. Out of warranty parts are expensive and they will break as they get even older, especially the auto gearboxes

Is that a known issue ? I am.in the market for a used X3 I'm.just concerned blabout their reliability also other than the cosmetics is it reallly worth getting an Msport ? I heard that they can give a very rough ride
