@akennedystocks i checked in phoenix, az. And we have maybe 40 stations in the whole city concentrated in downtown. And when you get a station thats open, you will be sitting there for like 30mi. At least.

My wife has a 23 Corolla and I drive a 21 Camry AWD. I have yet to see her Corolla get less than 40 mpg. The Camry averages 36 mpg and it will get 40+ mpg on the highway at 70 mph with the A/C on!! Next best thing to a hybrid.

Gee I wonder why? It's almost like people want a car they can take on long road trips and not have to worry about not only finding a charging station, but how long they're gonna have to wait to even get into that station. And then taking a half hour to an hour just to charge it back up so they can drive another couple hours 😂😂

I built many, many "alternative fuel" prototypes in my days,, the GM hybrid minvan in the 90s was the best but it still was very heavy, complicated plus the 3cyl engine ran all the time anyway .. Gasoline is a magic liquid ya'll.. ⛽️ ❤🎉

The main problem I see with battery powered cars is the fact that no matter the high or low mileage one may have, nor the maintenance done, a potential second owner will DEFINITELY face a $12,000.00 repair bill by the time the car is 10 years old. It doesn’t matter if the car has 80,000 miles or 80 miles… you’re in for a $12,000.00 repair. Period.

The reason they drop isn't because people don't want them, it's because Elon musk who sells the most evs on our market is discounting evs so much that people would rather buy a new model 3 than a used ev. How is 20 years of evs unproven technology? We already see how competitive they have become and their popularity is only increasing.

@@akennedystocks I could care less about sales!! I am an ASE Certified Tech and have been for over 25 years and they're a joke! They get you with tax breaks and big promises of sustainability and then you find out the batteries aren't covered under warranty and cost almost 1/3 the cost of the vehicle!! That's if your vehicle's batteries don't catch fire and burn your car to the ground and hopefully it's not parked in your garage and you lose your home as well!! Although seeing as you'll still being paying for your amazing Tesla at the time the batteries catch fire at least insurance will cover it and you won't be out of pocket over 10 grand for batteries and the labor to install them!!

Love these anti ev reels. They just show your obsession over what someone else drives. And btw, although the overall cost of ownership may still be in ICE vehicle versus EV favor, you can drive about ten times further on a dollar of electricity vs gasoline. The fact that electricity energy is much less than gasoline energy will continue to grind ICE vehicles into the history books.

@@wesleylashwl one kwh in California lowest price is about $.15. an ev travels about 4 miles on one kwh. So twenty miles in an ev is 5 x $.15 = $.75. Gasoline is about $5.00/ gal in California. In an average car you go 20 miles on one gallon So ICE car is $5.00 for 20 miles EV is $.75 for twenty miles That's six times cheaper for electricity. My apologies, not ten times, only 6

My 2011 Civic with 286,000 miles (original engine and transmission) still gets 34mpg. You might be lucky to get 9-10 years out of a battery pack... Then it's $20k to replace it!! Gas in beautiful Idaho is $3.45 a gallon. I can drive my Civic another 180,000 miles for the cost of a Tesla battery. The mental gymnastics you ev morons do!! 😂
