kinda same here, I had some good riding friends, had a lot of fun, but I found out that they are not really true motorcycle lovers, just a phase of their life riding bikes, I enjoyed most aspect of motorcycling, and really consistent on what I like, now I mostly riding by myself, still loving the bike I owned, now it's more taking care of my ride, mods, pretty much because I got inspired from your shorts haha salamat po!

Theyre just impossible to find with a clean title or that isnt trashed or drastically overpriced, especially in my area. Just riding to work and around town is about all I have time or energy for, but since my grom only goes 60mph topped out, you can still RIDE it hard everywhere and feel like your practicing your FUNdamentals! Hey man, if the ZX6R deal ends up not happening, a bike that would be cool to see you track is an Indian FTR 1200. You can find a bone stock one with a few miles on it for pretty reasonable price and theres a pretty decent selection of aftermarket parts you can do as you learn the bike and get a feel for it. Justa thought in caseyou didnt have any other ideas. Cant wait to see some track content! 😊

I agree about the prices. It’s ridiculous. A local shop is trying to sell a used one year old Africa Twin that clearly hit the ground hard and still has damage for $1199. The 2023 is $14499 brand new lol. The thing that seems to be working well for me to keep the love of riding going is regular short rides, a break, and then one long ride day. The short rides let me get my fix in 20-30 or so minutes while I grab a coffee or chai or a bite to eat or run an errand, etc. I take less populated roads usually, always wear my gear, and ride the speed limit and just enjoy myself. It’s fun and it doesn’t feel unnecessarily risky. It keeps me connected to riding but I don’t feel guilty, etc. BTW, did you see that new KTM 890 SMT bruh? That thing looks kinda sick lol.

Used prices around here are higher then new, unless the bike has 40k miles and needs maintenance. There was one that was dropped and broke the stator, with high mileage and dude would still not go lower then 1500 lower then new.

@@2100suprafreak yep. The same shop that is trying to sell a clearly damaged Africa Twin for $11999 is trying to sell a used Yamaha Tenere from their rental fleet for $11499. A brand new 2023 Tenere is $10499! 😂 They are trying to take advantage of the supply chain issues though, which is kind of horrible. I can’t take them seriously any longer as a result.

I ride all year long. I've heated gear and ride my KLR650 to work and back as often as possible. My truck gets 13 mpg! My old, clapped out KLR gets over 46 mpg. Easy math and to be honest, I love it!

I had an accident but didn't stop riding because the bike wasn't destroyed. The pandemic hit, and I bought 2 Siberian Husky pups. I have some classic vehicles that I started working on. I have a 2000 ZX12R that I bought for $2500 with 20k miles. Everyone seems to want new bikes... I wanted this bike! After a few tire changes, a stator, regulator, and battery, I'm back out rolling solo! I can put my bike in the back of my 1978 D150 and roll!

Little-known fact unless you think about it 56th Street exit entrance to I-5 is the only true cloverleaf there is in Tacoma... In fact all the way down towards Olympia I don't believe there's one and I don't know Seattle well enough to say there's not one in Seattle but I don't think there is there might be one way up in the Lynnwood Everett area... In other words you can take the off-ramp spin around cross over the top of the freeway come to the on-ramp spin around off the freeway back over the top of the freeway back onto the freeway I mean the on-ramp and just keep up that as long as you want

Seen a used ninja 400 for sale on the ad it said a storm knocked the bike over off its kickstand I went to go see it literally the whole side was jacked it clearly was crashed and slid a good bit 😒 decided right then I only wanted brand new I was gonna go with a cheap Chinese venom but found out I can get a brand new CFMoto 450SS for less than 6k 🤯
