Just like me! I’m 17 too and I literally got my bike a week ago! My first bike ever and I’m loving it, got a 2019 MT-07 and I’m loving it, no experience at all with dirt bikes or anything else and I decided to pick up an mt07, only things I’m struggling with are the weight of the bike at a stop and when going realllll slow and learning proper clutch control. Great first bike with not too much power as long as you don’t go nuts with the throttle and you can keep yourself under control. If you’re considering a big(ish) bike but you hear people preaching “DONT EVER GET ANYTHING BIGGER THAN A 400cc OR YOU WILL DIE” just know that if a 17 year old with zero experience can handle an MT07 then you probably could too!

Your problem is you think you can handle it. With no experience what so ever and being 17 you have no respect for what that bike is capable of. If you do you are the 1 in 10000 17 yr olds that do. You will drop it. You will lay it down because you have no fear of it. All 17 yr old's think they are the exception and they are better than everybody else. Gravel, debris, oil, animals are all a constant threat. If you obey the speed limit (Which you won't) you will have a chance. Prove me wrong. I hope you do. I truly hope you don't become another statistic.

Somehow, i kinda started the same. Im also from a country in which as soon as your 18 you can get your license to ride any cc. 17 and bought a triumph tiger 1050 as my first bike, rode sometime without a license. Somehow managed to convince my parents. Im now 19 and to be honest it wasn't that bad to be honest. You just need to have some self preservation and autocontrol. To be honest it is super fun and riding a big bike kinda feels more secure. Better brakes, handeling, power its just different to start on big cc. Is super fun to ride a big cc bike. The tiger power wise its like a 600 in terms of hp but has torque all the way in all rpms. To be honest i don´t regret it. And still haven't crashed and don´t plan to. Just until now got a small cc bike, because its fun to ride the tiger all day long until you meet traffic. Its kinda hot on the traffic i have in my contry which is basically alot. And just a smaller cc bike is more economicly viable to ride everyday to work. So to be honest to anyone that starts young on a big bike i would recomend. Do not show off, there's a big chance you'll crash and also ride on your limits. Don´t push yourself, you will probably crash if you push yourself more than you can. And also get acostumed to your bikes power. I got really acostumed to it and knowing how it will behave while it breakes, powerwise, and just testing the bike to be sure how it handles is a great idea. Apart from that just be safe. Ride within your limits. Love the zx6r ride safe!

No hate bro, but I used to have the zx7r and zxr750 and they were some of the fastest things ive ridden - older carbed bikes are insane onced tuned to perfection - thats why I love 2 strokes. You can't underestimate older stuff just because it's old - my 2007 gasgas 250 2 stroke supermoto has much faster acceleration than my Dad's 2020 1290 superduke - it's laughable really! 🤣 Cheers bro keep up the videos

@@county_bear9509 oh no, I'm being serious, a properly tuned and set up 2 stroke bike can be A LOT faster off the line than a superbike. Just check out the guys in Europe who ride 2 strokes on Italy's mountain roads - these supermotos are mental. In this case, I'm only saying the initial off the line acceleration is faster on my gasgas due its it's power to weight as you say. The Superduke burns past quickly afterwards as it would 😂. My point is not that my bike is faster overall but simply that I laugh at how gob smacked other riders get at how fast a 250 2 stroke is - don't forget these things are unrestricted off road race bikes.

I dunno man, I'm 25 and you really have to go out of your way and borderline eat your mental energy to get to 8k bucks for a bike. And at 17, sure it's possible with a side job. Here you're not really allowed to make over 450€ per month if you wanna avoid taxes and insurance. But you'd be saving a good few years at the same time not having much free time to be able to afford (in this case here) a bike you can't legally ride.

It's either this or money is way easy to come by in the US for people without any reasonable qualification. 8k is a huge investment for someone that young.

Adobomoto will be doing a video in 6 months or less how the kid should not have been on that bike and talking how he drove over his head and wrecked. I truly hope I'm wrong.

The only thing stopping me from getting a bike is the fact that I don't have a garage to park it in. So I'm always worried that it will get stolen..
