Great motorhome comparison TFS brought back memories of our RV Relocation we did in April from Toronto to Vancouver the RV was valued at £110,000 guess that’s why we rent for two weeks rather than buy 😂😂😂 but it was beautiful just like home from home 🏡 . Enjoy your week Norm and Tina 👍🙂🍷🍺

Great vlog again. I too can't resist looking in motorhomes when I'm at a motorhome centre. Just been down to Brownhills to have the batteries checked - two new leisure batteries had to be fitted, Ouch!! Reverse camera broke but hopefully, that will be covered on the warranty🤞

Weekend RVing - thank you for your kind words. Smaller units have their benefits. In the UK it’s essential to have a van that will fit our narrow roads 🙂 Trev

Great review guys, very informative, could do with the milage of each to assist the comparison though.
@PoshcatsCamping5 жыл бұрын
Good point made. I could tell by the wear on the front seats and the cab that most of the vans we looked at were fairly low mileage. Although the mileage effects the value of a Motorhome it’s not as influential as with the value of a car. Thanks for watching and your comments too. 👍🏻 Trev

I like the rear kitchen in the first motorhome, but a lot of money for a 7 year old van! For that price we would want a fixed bed. Out of the two I preferred the first van. Liking the season 3 intro

Thanks guys, agree too many numbers in the price 😄 There was a van with 2020 on it but we realised it was the year not the price 👍🏻😂 Must meet up soon 👍🏻 Trev

Nice one Trev, I like the interior on the first one. So tempted to swap my BMW X5 for a motor home, and tow Suzanne's car behind it 😁
@PoshcatsCamping5 жыл бұрын
If you are in the buying mood, take lots of time and check out layout, layout and layout. Then van weights and for towing too. Your car may have a crash zone on the front that will not accommodate an A-frame but you can always use a trailer subject to weights. A lot to consider but a great lifestyle for those with time to enjoy it. Thanks for watching our videos we really appreciate your loyalty 👍🏻😉 Trev

@@PoshcatsCamping Yes just have to do some checks mainly HPI first but mine was only 6 years old at the time on buying 15,000 miles and everything still looked brand new, just took a gamble on everything working touch wood its been great no problems but the price i paid i could afford to put things right if i had needed to.

Ward Nine these vans were all very low mileage and in most cases are under 20,000 miles. In some of the videos I did include mileage. Unlike cars, mileage is not the main influence to Motorhome price. Thanks for watching 🙂

Amazing how the market has changed. There is a slowdown in the prices just recently though and it’s probably down to less demand. However I think 2025 is going to prove the caravan and Motorhome industry is in a good position and remains very popular. Thanks for watching and your comments 👍🏻🚐😃 Trev

Towing a car with Motorhome. It might be easier and cheaper to Tow a caravan with a car.
@PoshcatsCamping4 жыл бұрын
In terms of cost there is probably not much in it and when towing a car you are limited to which car you can have just like towing a caravan. The deciding factor for us was that we can go most places in our motorhome on road trips, stopping for one or two nights at a time in pub car parks, CLs, Campsites or Off Grid by the roadside (wild camp). Then by taking a small car we can park up at any of these places and explore the nooks and crannies like you do when you tow a caravan. So you have more choice and don’t always have to tow. It’s horses for courses and there’s still not many people that “get it” and see caravanning as the best option. We choose to have a second more comfortable car for when we are at home. That’s where the extra cost came in for us as the tow car is not suitable for long journeys 🙂 Thanks for watching and your comments. Best wishes, Trev.
