Those look like two really nice RVs, Trev. Like these vans, both have good points. Really like the walk around bed in the Elddis. That is probably one of the most important points for us. Thanks for taking us on a tour. Hope you and Sue are staying safe over there.

@@Michelle-ub9dg There are very many brands to choose from. It’s so important to look at as many motorhomes as you can to find the one that fits your needs most. Budget, layout and specification can be the three most important deciding factors. Enjoy your search 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev

Two great Moho's Trev, of the two I would go for the Autotrail but take the Alde heating out of the Elddis! Autotrails with the over head lockers at the front always look very spacious, I would imagine that the overcab would impact on your MPG though. The Elddis bed took up far too much room and like you said needs shutting off. Another great comparison, Take care & keep safe, Martin
@PoshcatsCamping4 жыл бұрын
The over cab space has grown on me. It may not take a little more heating and reduce the aerodynamics but so minimal that comfort would drive my decision. The Lounges on the Autotrails do feel spacious. They don’t however seem to use the ultra low chassis so I wonder if they roll and pitch whilst driving. Our van is remarkably stable with a slightly lower centre of gravity. So many factors to consider when wandering round the used motorhome forecourt 😁 Thanks for stimulating many more thoughts Martin 😄 Trev

Nice tour. I've noticed it seems these are usually around the same price. Is that the typical price for that class or is that just mainly what you guys like to check out?
@PoshcatsCamping4 жыл бұрын
The price for this most popular type and age of vehicle varies between £40,000 to £70,000. We don’t have the variety of RVs in the UK but some A Class and Fifth Wheel can be as much as £120,000 or more. I may try to look at them later in the year when the RV shows are back. Two more lovely RVs! Thanks for the tours, Trev! If I had to choose it would be difficult...but I think I'd probably go with the Autorail, primarily for the bathroom. I do think the UK RVs have it all over the North American ones. Everything just seems to be of better quality.

Keeping on with the rear Light Cluster thing Trev Theres nothing Wrong with having the Rear Lights halfway up the Rear Panel Verticle or Horizontal ,all that Flat Space. Wouldnt need a Tow Lighting Board if Rear No Plate there too if Hauling a Tow Car or Trailer
@PoshcatsCamping4 жыл бұрын
Dee, I think the law in the UK is to have the tow vehicle number plate and marker lights on a trailer with reflective triangles too. However the number plate could be higher on the Motorhome I think. Also I believe there are regulations about the height of the main vehicle rear lights and braking lights. It’s all very complicated isn’t it ? 🤨 Trev
