I used to think that I would never learn how to speak in English because I was used to think negatively . Now everything has changed . As I started changing my mindset, studying every single day a miracle happened. I am getting used to the language, to the sounds, to the rules and it's been extremely pleasant. My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Hi Teacher! Could you please explain the difference between "I was used to find ..." And "I used to find..." I had understood that when we intend to speak about the past, we should use just "used to" (without verb to be). But you gave example with "I was used"

In this "Be used to v+ing" structure 'I was used to find' is wrong because after the 'used to' you have to use a gerund. So you can't compare both sentences.
