Hi, really enjoy and use your videos for my ESL students. Nice to give them a taste of England! ;) I did notice you said "usually" has three syllables, and yes, many people (even Brits) zip over the pronunciation, but I like to point out diphthongs to my students, as they definitely do stand out from what I call casual words. Plus it's really good to get their mouth muscles moving, saying words like: skiing cooperate, associate, etc. I also wanted to ask; why you didn't bring up "used", as in second-hand?

That's so great to hear and thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it. 😃 No particular reason I didn't add in "used" as an adjective, I create my YT videos based on my own syllabus for our academy and we don't have that as part of this particular topic... but certainly a great word to add to this topic!
