You guys should use some crazy prompts and then have the crew try to remake those results as a render challenge. I'm doing it myself just to see how well it works as a conceptual visualizer of sorts!

@@ginogarcia8730 right, I just downloaded a bunch of my results, soon as I finish the challenges, I'm in I will do another self-challenge to myself and recreate one of these results. I'd also like them to incorporate more challenges to the public, the last one was fun even though I didn't do as well as I wanted to lol. But every day, I push myself further and further and find ways to challenge myself. It's part of my learning process. Keeps me hungraaay hehe

29:15 One of the big problems with huge industrialized farms is that they don’t rotate crops. This has caused the genetic diversity in newer crops to be weaker so now big companies are producing lower quality food because they can’t do the simple task of planting corn on the same field after wheat harvest :/

What’s interesting is Niko saying that you can type in too much detail into the prompt (when he mentions the dragon looking down from a wall at an army) but in reality Dall-E 2 actually performs better when you give an incredibly detailed prompt. There’s some amazing examples on the dalle subreddit

it's all about the wording in the prompts man, as I said, you can even pull some sick stuff from Dall-E Mini wish isn't as good as the real Dall-E and Dall-E 2, Midjourney is pretty sick, i needs me credits for it now. But Night Cafe is another one that's free, and you can earn credits or buy them. It's because of you guys that I find stuff like this and I dig deep into the stuff to find alternatives and ways to use it that normal folks wouldn't have thought of lol.

The KZbin algorithm is actually quite good at not feeding you just one thing all the time. You will find it feeds you a ton of very similar or at least highly related things for a while, but then it will shift tracks. You will realize that you haven't seen X in a while, that it was pushing at you for a while. I think it is pretty good at understanding the basic idea of both bingeing and boredom and the need for variety.

39:10 "this is what DALL-E 's perfect for like quick like sketches, idea, story telling" yeah I think DALL E will be very handy when you are reading a novel and let it sketch the characters or environment described by the writer.

been using Dall-E mini (since I don't have access to Dall-E or Dall-2) for the same purpose. Tweaking prompts to get decent results that I can then use as concept art. It's awesome how you can specify things like camera angle, camera focal length, even the lighting (it knows the difference between studio lighting and ambient lighting)! I came up with a bunch of results that actually look pretty good even for Dall-E Mini, it's all in how you word the prompts. I went from nightmare fuel to pretty cool looking rendered images. All just from how I word my prompts. Definitely a great tool for idea generation!

I think the next push is informative. I don't think anyone explains the use of subscriptions (or the bell in particular.) Just tell people "Hey, real quick. The reason we always ask people to subscribe and turn on notifications ("smash the bell")? We ask that because the more people who make it a point to watch our videos as soon as it drops? The more KZbin thinks it's good, and pushes it in front of even more people. It trends a lot quicker, and is a thing you can do, to help get a lot more eyes on us." - Now, before you say "people know that," a) I'll bet many don't. And b) people love to have their expectations affirmed. Makes us all feel smart.

When we look at what we've accomplished in relation to our history its amazing to us but, I believe we probably know less than 1% of what the universe has to offer including knowledge. Do we really understand ALL of physics, energy ... anything? We don't even know what's in the ocean . Nature will fix all of it in the end, we will evolve or we will disappear. They'll be work in working the AIs, but there won't be nearly as much work as when you needed 4 or 5 dudes to set up just the lights, or when it took one person 2 weeks to create a decent 3d model of your set. If we arbitrarily say that an episode of "Arcane" takes a collective... I dunno 2000 hours? (20 people working 50 hours a week for 2 weeks? seems low if anything) than I think with AI tools it will be creatable with maybe 200 hours of work (5 people, 40 hours, 1 week).

I’m not totally totally on board with believing this AI is sentient, but I do think it’s worth consideration and I think we’re not far off from AI sentience. I subbed because you guys reminded me to check and it's not something I'd normally think about. Touching on the subject matter because why not, personally I think humans are going to be obsoleted by what we build and that's okay, we overrate ourselves. Simulated 'debauchery' doesn't bother me, most of the world's problems seem to come from outdated cruel ideologies and fragile narcissistic issues, and for all our imagined enlightenment, it's easy to spend decades looking straight past say the horrors of what we do in factory farms or with unnecessary luxuries, and when it clicks it can cause you to realize we're still the same awful creatures as in the past, and the current state of things is not such a fantastic thing to really want to hold onto, it's mostly just us congratulating ourselves for conforming to what some slavers set out as better without explanation or justification. Suffering doesn't really seem to lead to success, it's again just an idea we repeat which doesn't really match reality. Those who suffer the most die young after picking over the sheltered's garbage, unseen and unheard. Those who are given everything rise to the top no matter their visible emotional failings.
