A great idea to make a video teaching these expressions, they can come in handy to every language learner (as we often struggle to find right expressions and resort to speaking figuratively). A couple more example sentences would make the video perfect.

Hi Ben, there is one expression I can't get my head around. It means "I didn't think you were into...": I never figured you (for / as), never picked you (for / as), never pegged you (for / as). I heard it so many times in BE and AE with and without a preposition. What is the grammatically correct version? Thanks in advance from Germany.

Excuse me sir, but as we know you're teaching us the British English, aren't you? So why're you pronouncing the word "situation" in an American accent /sı chu:(w)eıshən/ ? It should be/sı tju: eıshən/
