The Bible ALSO states that Abraham was going to sacrifice his ONLY son (not his youngest, second...) as a young boy, and Ishmael was his first son, and both lived to old age. So Isaac was never the only son of Abraham. I studied all the major and many minor religions from grade school until well past university, and finally reverted to Islam in April 2016.

As a Hindu, having no affiliation to either of the two faiths mentioned in this video and also being a student of science and genealogy. There are some of the macro observations I made during my study which others may find interesting. Facts: - There are primarily 4 versions of Bible and then many other editions followed by different Christian denominations. Similarly, Torah has different editions followed by different sects (around 73) within Jews. However, Quran is only one version irrespective of Geography, Language, region, sects or otherwise. It's verbatim! and in first speech. A contrast to all other "divine" scriptures. - Quran seems to have its emphasis on the 'message' and doesn't really focus on the details of the incidents. Example: The story of the 'People of the Cave' where it doesn't matter what the colour of the dog was in that story. Whereas Bible has a different approach, it appears to focus on the details in the same story. - Besides being first Speech, Quran is poetic, symmetrical, calculated, and an intricate work of literary perfection. No other literature can match these qualities nor can be read in the way Quran is read by the Muslim reciters. - Quran is preserved verbatim since 1400+ years and doesn't appear to have a single error in passing its text throughout generations. A feat which no other book on earth can claim despite the technological advances. - Quran is also a mathematical, astronomical and scientific marvel. There are videos on each of the topics by respective experts of the fields which I can share upon request and interest. Thanks.

If that is true, then why do Jewish and Christian scriptures have similarities that are different from the Quran such as which son did Allah order to be slaughtered? In the Jewish and Christian books, it's Ishaq who was ordered to be slaughtered, but in the Quran, it's Ismail. If Isa (Jesus) confirmed the Jewish Torah, then the Christian bible should say Ismail was the one told to be slaughtered like the Quran. -According to Q.32:5, 1 day for Allah is equal to 1000 years for humans but according to Q.70:4, 1 day is equal to 50,000 years for humans. ***Science Mistakes and General Knowledge*** -According to Q.36:37-39, at night, the sun is at its resting place. If it so, then why is it that when it's night in one place, the sun is still moving in other part of the world ? Apart from that, it's said that in the morning, the moon is also at its resting place. Then why is it that when it's day in one place, the moon is still moving in other part of the world ? -According to Q.36:40, the sun and moon orbit around the earth. In reality, the earth orbits around the sun while the moon orbits around the earth. -According to Q.91:1-4, the moon follows the sun. Again this is wrong. -According to Q.51:49 and Q.36:36, all creatures were created in pairs. In fact, there are creatures that only have one sex, such as the Mexican whiptail lizard, viruses, bacteria, fungi. -According to Q.6:38, all animals live in groups. Not all animals live in groups such as polar bears, platypus, chuckwalla lizards, blue whales, snow leopards, jaguars, pandas. -According to Q.71:16, the moon illuminates (The Arabic word is "Nur"). In reality, the moon reflects light from the sun. -According to Q.86:6-7, semen is produced between the backbone and ribs. In fact, semen is produced in the testicles. The Quran copied the outdated fact from ancient Greeks. -According to Q.22:65, Allah holds the sky so to prevent the sky from falling to earth. Wrong. The atmosphere cannot fall to the earth. In fact, Earth's gravity prevents the sky from floating into space and not the other way around. -According to Q.13:2, Allah raised the heavens without pillars. Wrong again. -According to Q.25:45-46, shadows are moved by Allah. -According to Q.25:53, Allah created a separation between fresh water and salt water. In reality, there is no exact separation but there are waters with different levels of saltiness. -According to Q.16:15, mountains prevent the earth from shaking (The Arabic word is "Tamida"). This is wrong. Mountains are created from tectonic shift of the earth, not to prevent the earth from shaking. This is why earthquakes are more commonly found in mountanious places. Medieval Arabs thought that earthquakes were earth's vibrations that were held by mountains to prevent too much shake. -According to Q.67:5, stars were created to be missiled at Satan. Medieval Arabs saw meteors falling so they thought they were stars thrown by Allah like missiles. -According to Q.54:1-3, the moon was split into two. -According to Q.6:125, the human chest shrinks when in the mountains. In fact, human chests enlarge when in the mountains. Medieval Arabs misconfuse the lack of oxygen in high altitude as makin chest shrinking. -According to Q.67:19 and 16:79, birds can fly because they are held by Allah. If that's true, then why can ornithopter vehicles, in which the wings are flapped like birds, can fly for so long? Apart from that, if birds are held by Allah while flying, then why do many birds defecate on the Kaaba ? -According to Q.4:23-24, it is forbidden to marry mother, daughter, and sibling but no mention of cousin. Cousin marriage has been proven to be the cause of the high rate of defective births among British of Pakistani descends. -According to Q.5:116, Christians take Mariam as God. False. -According to Q.19:27-34, Mariam, the son of Aaron, was the mother of Isa (Jesus), but in Christianity, Mary, the son of Aaron, is a different person from Mary the mother of Jesus. ***Morals*** -According to Q.2:828, the witness of 1 male is the same as the witnesses of 2 females. -According to Q.4:34, a man can beat his wife if she does not want to obey her husband. -According to Q.4:24, Having sex with someone's wife is not allowed unless the woman becomes a captive. -According to Q.14:4, people believe/disbelieve in Islam because of Allah's will. -Q.2:65, 7:166 insults people as apes. -According to Q.98:6, non-Muslims are the worst creatures. -Q.47:4 tells to strike enemies' necks. -According to Q.78:31-38, 56:7-40, 55:46-77, 52:17-20, 44:51-57, men in heaven will get virgins with big eyes, pale skin, full breasts.

Allah contracdited himself about Prophet Ismail and Abraham that no prophet came to the Arab forefathers before muhammed, not even Prophet Ishmael and Abraham. 1) Abraham and Ishmael were prophets in Islam that came to Arab land to build kabbah stone . 2) Allah informs us of this in the Qur’ân when he says: “Or do they say that he has forged it? Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may admonish a people to whom no warner before you has come, in order that they may receive guidance.” [ Sûrah 32 al-Sajdah: 3] Allah also says: “In order that you may admonish a people whose fathers had received no admonition and who therefore remained heedless.” [ Sûrah 36 YâSîn : 6] Ibn Jurayh says: “No Messenger had come to them or to their forefathers, no Messenger had come to the Arabs from Allah Almighty.” Al-Suyûtî quotes this statement in his commentary on the Qur’ân entitled al-Durr al-Manthûr (6/537). A similar statement is mentioned for Qatâdah. Al-Tabarî mentions this in his commentary on the Qur’ân (22/150). Al-Suyûtî also mentions it in al-Durr al-Manthûr (7/42).

The concept of prophethood is that they was sent to particular group of people at that particular time. We start with Noah/Nuh,although he did not have a book,God speak to him about worshipping God alone. But for those rejected the messages,drown in flood. The first book is the Torah,given to Moses, yet same message to Israelites to worship God alone but what happened (read exodus 32: golden calf) israelites worship the cow, in one community they must be people refuse to listen/misinterpret to what God ask them to do. Next book of Psalms,yet same message. Then Jesus with his New Testament. He gave advised to israelites to worship God alone, and because he did miracles (other prophets have miracles too) some of his followers claimed he is God but Jews rejected him as God same goes with Muslims. Then final messenger, Muhammad with God final revelation Qoran. Same concept which is worship God alone. With Qoran, God explained everything what He needs from children of the world. If you read Qoran, God said this book for all mankind as it is a final revelation. We shall returned to this one God even our prophets too. God sent books to us,follow that and do not misinterprate those messages.

@Da Rock In surah "Al Anbya" which literally translates to "The prophets" prophet Ismail is mentioned alongside many other great prophets is Islam like David, Solomon, Issac, Moses, Jacob and many more as being patient and in others being amongst the most righteous. The surah 29:27 that you are referring to tells us that Allah bestowed prophet hood to Issac and Jacob and made from there progeny prophets, if you go back to the vid and look at the those who come from the lineage of Issac and Jacob compared to Ismail you will better understand the verse

Abraham left Hagar and Ishmael in the desert near the Kaaba's ruins (the one made by Adam), but this did not happen after the Kaaba was built. According to Islamic tradition, Abraham rebuilt the Kaaba with Ishmael later after visiting him repeatedly, while in that episode you mentioned, Ishmael was still a baby.

12:45, Joseph was dealing with Aziz-Mesr which is simply Egypt king, however, you inerpreted it as Pharaoh which is the same interpretation found in the bible when narrating this story. It was only in the twenitest century that we knew that the era of Joseph is known as the ancient kingdom where the king is not called pharaoh yet - this title came later with the new kingdom, era of Moises - and was simply Al-Aziz, the highest hierarchie or a king. Quran mada an amazing historique distinction here, especially when we know that, when narrating the story of Moises, we will find the title Pharaoh used, in accordance to the facts we have.

The Arabic names are usually closer than the English names to the Hebrew names as both languages are Semetic. I think it would be interesting to have the names in a bunch of different languages (Hebrew, Arabic, and perhaps Latin and Greek, along with the most likely native languages of each prophet like Aramaic for Jesus/Isa).

If you don't believe Jesus is his biological son then God is not his biological father. Whereas in other Judaism religions, it is far from true as the Jewish prophets do bear messages by the power of the Holy Spirit which is within them. Oftentimes, God sends His angels to these prophets but not all. Even Jesus was ministered to by an angel but John, for example, wasn't. The Holy Spirit is a spirit God gives to whosoever He finds worthy amongst His people like prophets, kings, Jewish High priests, and the Apostles & gentiles.
