Thanks for all your comments guys, I’m glad you’re enjoying this so much! At CMB we no longer work with the seasonal colour types as you might be able to tell from this video. Only the 6 dominants! I personally really appreciate this since I think it makes colour analysis much simpler to work with. You can then add a secondary and tertiary colour type which would add a few more colours to your personal palette, but it depends on your skin’s undertone. We will get into that in another video! 🙏🏻❤️ but your dominant has a big overall impact and takes up most space among your best colours. Thanks again for all your lovely comments as always and take care! All the best, Signe

Honestly, this video shows once again that you're really good at what you're doing. My style and color palette are very different from yours, I don't think we share a single item in our closets, but I still learn so much from your videos! It shows that you know your style theory and not just what works for you personally, which sets you apart from most other fashion youtubers. It feels like I'm actually learning abstract knowledge watching your videos rather than just gathering inspiration.

Hearing how the tools work for you even though we have each our different style is everything! Thanks again and enjoy your Sunday. 💓 Signe xx

I've been working to define my colour palette during covid. It's been a fun project! I'm finding it so much easier to get dressed now and I feel so much better in my clothes. Like you black is not ideal for me but I do like it. I've been intentionally shopping for scarves that incorporate soft block and warmer colours to wear near my face. I really enjoyed this video and love the colour journey that you are on. Keep sharing! You are awesome!

Great video, I’ve had a color analysis done and I’m a winter. The problem lies in that the last few years most color choices in clothes are warm toned. Other than white, black, navy and gray it’s ridiculously hard to find cool toned colors. I have one royal blue sweater that I’ve worn out and can’t find a replacement for.

Wow, this video blew my mind. I was recently thinking about color psychology, but I love how you focused on something practical like fashion to really apply and teach color to the public. I think I automatically gravitate towards certain colors because of my skin tone/eye color, but this gave me more reasons why those colors usually work for my style. You put into words what we all were thinking. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this video as I am reorganizing my closet.

I thought you suited navy more than black since I started watching your videos last year (I had my colours done years ago / have similar eye & skin colouring as you) but thought it was better to not say. Black/navy are so similar in versatility but make so much difference/lift an outfit if you wear the one that suits you most.

My pro colors included shades/tints of purple, but I’ve recently stopped buying new pieces in this hue. I’ve always found it difficult to style and there’s something drab or somber about it. I am so drawn to light neutrals, but it’s hard to find cooler versions for my coloring. This has been a great season for finding, better on me, taupe items, I love your taupe leather jacket.

I read my moms colour me beautiful -book over and over as a teen! I have since known what colours suit me, I actually was drawn to those colours even as a kid, and I did stick to my colour palette thoroghly for years but then I got really, really bored with all the browns and earthy tones. Then I wore all black. Then a rainbow of colours. Then, for years only grey shades, which I still love. Now, taking baby steps to reintoduce my colours. Khaki green has never completely left my wardrobe, it is my best shade.

Thanks for the vídeo! Most of the KZbinrs I follow are a cool skin girls, so when you always say "is better to stick to neutrals" I can't feel represented with the commonly known neutrals. I'm neutral but I lean more towards deep autumn colour palette. So for me, my "neutrals" have some colour, like navy blue, charcoal grey, off-white, beige or chocolate brown. And also, the bright colorations (like Autumn and Winter) don't look as well in muted colours like Summer and Spring. So forest green, mustard yellow or burgundy red are my go to colours.

First to say.. my english is quite bad, but I'll try... my whole life I thougt, I would be a deep autumn. My hair is dark brown, my eyes are dark brown, in the summer my skintone becomes goldish. I saw myself always as a warm color-type. But... now I think I'm oliv undertoned. To warm colors like orange look horrible an me, but to cold colors like royal blue are still worse. Which colors do you think work on an warm oliv undertone.

The big question on the color subject is....once you know the right colors for you how do you find those colors in the stores? It seems the industry chooses the colors of the moment and that's all that's in the store. I don't online shop but if one does how does one truly know if the color one is seeing is the actual color of the garment?

I've been so obessed with color analysis just lately, its such an interesting theory to dive into. I have a question, do you think we naturally gravitate towards the colors that work for us?
@UseLess_dk3 жыл бұрын
Interesting question! Actually in many cases, yes! It’s funny because my colour analysis trainer said that we often see this because we tend to choose colours that fits our personality. I’m a soft colour type and already I’ve always been very drawn to soft and calm colours, which I think suit my personality very well! Doesn’t always have to be this way, but yes we do see it happen a lot 😊 quite fascinating really! Thanks for your comment ❤️ Signe xx

It can be quite tricky, I completely agree! When you have a wallet of swatches to bring with you, even for comparison when shopping online (a bit trickier again, since you really need to study the images to see the colour), it does become easier to find your colours though. ☺️ not necessarily every single one, but it becomes a lot easier. Just a tip if you’d like to dive deeper into it! Most colour consultants sell these swatch wallets as part of their service when you go and have your colour type analysed. Signe xx

You could start small, especially in winter. Buy a top with a collar or a roll neck and layer it. First under a jumper so only the collar is visible. Then, when you feel more comfortable, under a vest or jacket. Or start with jewelry or make up.
