Very good, DSLR. I have one. 24mp more than enough! If you got lots of money to spend or crop your images heavily or print really big photos and like to zoom into the image, then yes, go for 40, 50+ mega pixel. D7200 will last until it totally stops working because they are built well. Just look after it, and it will keep on doing it's Job. I also have a Nikon D700 built like a tank.. !

Indeed it is a capable one. And ofcourse 24 MP is sufficient for all our needs . But well since its already sold out would be looking for something to add to my kitty.

Course it is! an 8 year old camera that still produces excellent work. At a pixel level that works for most needs.

support on what exactly? lol! it can use all DX&FX lenses, software don't really need upgrade + it has fast wireless connection and transfer.

@@abuanwp they still provide firmware support to d7100 and d5300, in a way you are right, but they have given full afp support to d5300 older than d7200 they kept partial in terms of switching off vr and all. The support for cameras older than d7200 and d7500 and d500 are still getting updates I meant that, hope I answered your LOL 😆...

I find it a bit comical when people talk about "X camera still relevant in 20XX?" A camera is as relevant as long as it does what you need it to. Most cameras made in the past 10-15 years can still be "relevant" today if they do what you need them to do. Its when you've outgrown the camera where it starts to become irrelevant. I know people who are still shooting paid gigs with a Canon 5D Mark II, a camera that is over 10 years old, and certainly older than the D7200).

Very well said! I agree to your kind words. I find that the technology is progressing leaps and bounds and things like good autofocus is now really trivial to achieve with it. People are now used to such easy way of convenience. With that said people who want good AF hit rate etc with older cams might need to work out more on their focussing strategy. Which might sometime beg the question if we still should use the camera like D7200. Basically the question should be “Should you upgrade” sort of….

1200 plus photos on a single charge . If you use flash intermittently you could easily get 1k photos

A shelf life in 2 - 3 years? I would bite your hand off for a D7200. I'm using a Nikon D300s from 2009 and will use it until the shutter breaks. That D7200 will do over 200.000 shutter actuations easily. Keep using it mate, it's your friend.

Its a great camera jack! I got some memorable photos with it. Its a great image maker but I want a hybrid. Which one do you think makes more sense

@@TechInfywire To be honest with you, I really don't have a clue. I'm very old school and I don't see myself buying a mirrorless camera at all. Like I say, I have a D300s and I'll probably upgrade to a D7200 in a few years time. Why don't you take a look at Ken Rockwell's website. Everything you'll ever want to know and learn and more.
