For some reason indoor water parks always felt safe to me. Maybe the chlorine,the color of the water,or maybe that I could touch the ground. It was like I have complete control of whatever I do in the water. The sounds,the smell,the feel,and the warmth of the water made me feel at peace.

It's not scary, but there's an oppressive melancholy to it. It's a realm of the forgotten and lonely, a place where you can remember joy but never feel it. Maybe that joy was never real, just a warped memory of a memory. All the hopeful plans never fulfilled, all the songs forgotten, all the stories never told again, all the photos and paintings faded, all of it sits here and rots. It's the sort of hell I expect to be sent to when I die, a place of eternal loneliness and longing where the only fleeting respite is a few hours of sleep.

Guess how she's treated by students. Goodluck with your new job. I hope you feel more confident after 3 months :)

Dreamcore for me is an escape from the world around me and an adventure into my subconscious. It has helped me to face myself on a very intimate level, allowing myself to face my shadow and heal old wounds that reopen constantly. Every time I allow myself to maladapt to the daydream, it becomes like a sort of meditation accompanied with imagery thats symbolic of whats cerrently troubling me in life. When I can face it this way, it becomes less scary and in a way, more recognized. Instead of running, I see it right in front of me, and I can say "you are not me."

If you are reading this, let me give you a tip through dreams. When lucid dreaming, it is always a thing to know within ones mind, certain thoughts can provoke awakening. When thinking that you cannot have a long lucid dream without waking up the moment you know you're in a dream, then you will have that self-thought in your dreams as well. Do know that thinking that you are in a dream too much as a way to lucid dream, will more often than not leads your mind to take you back into reality. If you do know that you're in a dream, put that beside your head, use your lucidness as a way to journey your dream; as a part of the dream itself. It will lengthen the dream more than to halt it the moment it feels everything is done, due to in some cases, knowing that you already have all of the control. In all to be known, areas are endless, possibilities are far, yet all can end so quickly, in the depths of Dreamland.
@CriS-jq6em2 жыл бұрын
I’ll also say that if you realize being in a dream, Just focus on what you are seeing, Keep your brain focused on the things around you. When lucid dreaming I often feel like I’m under water. I mean, that sensation that you feel when you try to Stay in the deep, but your body wants to go to the surface.. the same goes for the dream: you want to Stay in the dream, your body is trying to awake you. So just keep governate and chilling insidie it: dont be scared. Its all in your head.

The first song is nostalgic beyond comprehension. The frequencies bring our minds back to a state of naive bliss, sleeping in the early hours of the morning as a child. We wake up, look outside, and see a cloud casting a shadow on infinite, peaceful, green rolling hills. While this image may look strange now, long ago it was a beautiful and interesting sight to a very small child. Remember how the mountains seemed to stretch all the way up to the top of the sky? Remember how the highways looked like they went on forever? Everything seemed so large, so fascinating, so mysterious. As a small child, music really did sound like this. Our minds were trying to make sense of the sounds we were hearing. Often times, we’d even hear this kind of music in our deepest dreams. These songs bring me back to my earliest childhood memories. It hurts to think about how long ago many of them were collected. Once you pass a certain age, it all goes by too quickly. When you’re little, you’re blind to this naive beauty. But my, when you revisit it, it’s unfathomable.

I find Dream-Core so facinating and not one bit disturbing everything has its place and it’s so vast and open welcoming you in. It’s almost like a dream or a life we lived giving some kind of dejavu.

The clouds where too low to the ground. They were big. The grass was short. The sky was a perfect blue. He heard a ringing in his ears, but it felt soft, and comforting. He wanted to stay here. He closed his eyes. “Sleep well.” william heard a voice. He didnt know where it came from, who said it, or how, and frankly, he didnt care. He kept his eyes closed, soaking in every bit of peace he found in this state. Without a care in the world, he stopped thinking about the heavy bags under his eyes, or the unpaid bills at home. William forgot about home. He was glad he did. Nothing there could compare to the peace he felt right here. At that final thought, william never remembered his home again. He never felt again, or heard the world. William was able to rest now. In the empty parking lot, a single dim light flickered. Inside williams car. He had breathed his last, and the pill jar fell to the cold floor.

I was listening to this while emptying out my dresser to make room for clothes. I had to throw out a bunch of my old clothes and this playlist made me look at them and remember each and every single memory i had with them. My middle school years, my first time in a new school, my summers, my winters, parties i went to, people I knew, and so on. It was really nostalgic going through everything and just reliving my childhood. To be fair im still here n high school so its not over but to see how far back those things were really got me. Thank you

I really like the idea of sitting in a dark room, big enough for two people but small enough so that I feel squished. And then just listening to this on repeat. The thing is, I have a fear of the dark so it’s comforting yet unsettling.

Dreamcore and weirdcore to me take me back to my younger self, when I wasn’t being made fun of my autism, when I actually ate alot without feeling self conscious about it, when I finally felt like I didn’t have to be a fake person I had to be and to be myself without feeling self conscious, it takes me back when I had to struggle in school cause teacher didn’t understand me and I was known as a bad kid. I miss being younger but at the same time I don’t miss who I use to be. Dreamcore makes me feel safe and comfortable while being disturbing to others

This is probably my favorite dreamcore playlist right now, i've been listening to it the past few days. Many dreamcore playlists that are just music (no lyrics) can feel pretty depressing and/or creepy. Not that it's bad for them to, but I look for stuff that's like this! This one feels very chill and dreamy, it relaxes me

the first image and song seem comforting to me when i was a kid i thought clouds were not that high, like you could reach them if you built something tall every time i was in a car i thought of clouds and how weird they are, they're little puffs of water floating above us giving us shade from the sun and watering the plants they look beautiful, sometimes i can't stop staring at them my favourite ones were those feathery ones, they made the sky look like a farm field there were ones far away that made the horizon look like huge mountains there were those cylinder ones that you usually saw before a storm, those ones were so cool, i liked going out on my balcony and watching them roll before i had to go inside due to the storm i feel like so many things are under appreciated nowadays, if you're in a car now you just turn on your phone and wait out till you arrive, the best experience ever is just watching the clouds and landscape outside of the window, especially on rainy days clouds make funny shapes, my imagination run so wild, i just pointed out different shapes that look like things; "that looks like a whale!, oh, and that one like a dragon! that one is longggg, that's a snake!" clouds are so funny

Playing this through my mom's phone, eating in a driveway parking lot, blasting the living shit out of this song was a very subtle yet blissfully beautiful for me. I contemplated and imagined my average, unhappily yet joyfilled mashed up life, thinking, as i eat with my small toy poodle by my side waiting for me to share a piece. I was glad, to hear this masterpiece while chomping bits of my kfc🍗 meal.

I dont find this genre unsettling at all. Dreamcore/Weirdcore fully reminds me of the unsureness of childhood. Being completely unaware of how the world truly works and the sense of nervousness, but also wonder that comes from it. Everything feels so new and distant, but you know you'll gradually learn more and more. It's a bittersweet feeling because it reflects on that wonder and fun of discovering, but eventually, its that discovery and increased knowledge of the world that will eventually be the undoing of your innocence. This genre/aesthetic captures that feeling perfectly.

Dust Collector reminds me of driving back from my dead first lover's funeral. I was only 19 and I had just moved to the city by myself - I wasn't ready for true emotional trauma like that. This song feels like the conversation I had with myself that I had to have a strong resolve and keep it together - I'd almost wished I hadn't kept it together and let the grief truly come over. Now, like some kind of strange emotional amputation, I can feel the phantom pain from it to this day and a loneliness I can never escape.

Dreamcore is just like it's name, the places is what I saw in my dreams, usually the night mare would be somewhere else. I actually found dreamcore pretty calming and comforting of sort, but it's a dream, anything could be scary in a dream. Anything. So I get it why some people are scared of this type of aesthetic.
