I heard the book is very detailed in this part. Yes, the sex part. And I also heard that Dong Hua is not as love struck in the book, he is falling in love with Feng Jiu, but the tv show makes it more pronounced. I guess in the book DH is more about watching FJ because the Demon Queen is after her. DH is, maybe, a million years old, so my thinking is he is always on the defensive, always watching out for the evil in the world, to keep the balance. He is always a God first. Having feelings for FJ, takes him away from his focus. But I like to think he learns to balance it out in the end.
