Just back to the height issue re the 1250 GS. I ride a Multistrada Enduro 1200, a tall heavy bike. I am 173cm and 70 years old. 3 tips. Lower seat. Carefully selected shoes / boots. (Worth about 1/2 inch, 5cms.) When dismounting, slip one cheek off the seat, stand tall on that leg, same side as the side stand. Also work on the rolling mount/dismount. Brett Tkacs, has a video to demonstrate. For example: Bike in first, side stand up. Slip the clutch a little, step onto the near side peg and sling your leg over. (Practice on the grass.) You drove past my house!, It is lovely around Llyn Brianne and I love that stretch of road from Newbridge to Beulah. Another nice place to visit if you haven't been already is the road from Rhayader to Devils Bridge via the Elan Valley and then the mountain road to Aberystwyth. Love watching your videos, happy riding.

I started following your channel after watching your camping trip to Scotland on the 125's and i ended up getting my own camping gear to have a go myself. 2023 was so wet though that ever weekend we planed to go away it was wet and we cancelled so i really feel your pain. clearly you have some great bike gear if you did 5 to 6 hours in the rain to get home. Impressive. I will say those roads and those views looked amazing need to go and try that

I’m based in North wales and the Scenery is just as good (As you probably already know) In My Old Job I used to Deliver between North Wales & South Wales, the scenery out there is just as good as the Alps. You girls should cross over to Ireland and try The Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast its incredible I've been on it numerous times on different bikes but my best and most comfortable ride was on my Tiger 850 XR .. .. .. you'll love that west coast 👍👍👍

My trip to Wales timed well with the end of summer(July 22) and washed out for 10 days. Totally spoiled it for me. Pray that I get a chance to do it again next year with some more sunnier weather. My fave bit was in fact Llyn Brianne. I'm from Kent and live close to Brands Hatch, , host of BSB and superbikes. What about a little jaunt down this way for a BSB Weekender before the year is out. I might be able to get you a discount at my hotel , not far away too😊

The lake is Llyn Brianne. Not sure of the exact spot, was just a little road climbing up a hill that we found 😊

Love your channel and where you camped is one of my favourite parts of Wales. I'm sure you did but please help share the message that if you're camping in the countryside, leave it better than when you found it or at least leave no trace. Campfires aren't ideal but if you must have one, please share that it's important to remove all traces of it before you leave. Inconsiderate use of the countryside ruins it for everyone.

3 Stunning Girls and 3 Bikes…what make?😂👍 I had a Ducati 250, think ‘73/74….my one was a road bike, but they had a Scambler style too Kate, but they were not really around the UK market, until later when used Imports started up…mainly we had a racy one, and the street bike. Electrics had a mind of their own Kate, but, lovely bike. About 75mph full chat, but u could literally do “ full chat” every semi open bend, roundabout if it was a biggie😲 …I think tyre rubber has improved a lil😂 My one was a modded street bike, drop bars but still double seat

… the arrival of much faster jap RD 250 LC killed the resale market,,, I ended up with £175. Nowadays, add a couple of zeros on the end of the price. I had a RD250, and 350, but the Duke was much more fun to ride and own

I would have put up with the weather and finished the trip as bad weather is all part of biking in the UK. Even if you didn't film it to save the cameras. Maybe sometimes its nice not to just think of every trip on a bike as content and remember what fun it was before KZbin? 🙄
