daigo e ryu is much better than at evo. You can see how consistent he is with combos combined with the damage he gets now. Its easy to see why he went from ryu to e ryu and his improvement is very noticeable.

Chris Luciantonio Point is people have been saying that in 2012, 2013, and now 2014. Sure he isn't winning as much, but he is always doing damage at tournaments, and is always in conversations of who is the best in the world.

***** I think it is because how much is reputation has been built up over the years that people overlook just how solid of a player he is and say he "sucks now." People were actually shocked he didn't make top 8 this year at evo. When your a "Street Fighter God" everyone just expects perfection all the time, no matter how unreasonable that is. I could be wrong but pool play everyone plays everyone. Player with most wins guaranteed finals in winners pool. Losers pool everyone dukes out to advance to finals.
