daigo e ryu is much better than at evo. You can see how consistent he is with combos combined with the damage he gets now. Its easy to see why he went from ryu to e ryu and his improvement is very noticeable.

***** I think it is because how much is reputation has been built up over the years that people overlook just how solid of a player he is and say he "sucks now." People were actually shocked he didn't make top 8 this year at evo. When your a "Street Fighter God" everyone just expects perfection all the time, no matter how unreasonable that is. I'm just glad he is winning tournaments again because nothing is better than Daigo beasting.
