oh my lort!!! creativity just poureth out of you! i don't know how long it would take for me to create any length of appealing, original, unique fabric like this!!! i don't have the brain/eyes for color. 2 is simple. 3 is difficult. 4+ is just not gonna happen for me...

when I saw your fabric straight off the loom, I thought mid century modern. I pictured a table runner on a teak table or buffet. I ordered the Japanese color book from Amazon!

Hello Andrea, What a stunning woven top!! The colors & the funky design pattern is TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL!! I would definitely BUY this one if I ever saw it!!! Just gorgeous!! I wish I had a weaving loom like the one you used here!! Of course, I would have to learn to weave first & then attempt a gorgeous piece like this!! You, my friend, are a naturally talented artisan & teacher!! You need to consider TEACHING in SMALL RETREATS, I would fly out from CA to NY or wherever you choose to be!! THANK YOU FOR ALL FABULOUS VIDEOS ON YOUR CHANNEL!!!! You bring a smile & interest to my day👍🏻💕🤗👏🏻👏🏻!!

This is an interesting way of plying yarn and changing the amount of twist. Since I am also a handspinner in addition to being a weaver, I would ply yarn on my spinning wheel and increasing and decreasing the amount of twist while plying.

I do not hemstitch! I just leave the edges raw, cut my fabric off the loom, then either tie or sew a straight stitch along the edges before wet-finishing.

@@AndreaAlexander I'm so glad! O found one of you vids ages ago and though: oh wow! this saori loom thing looks awesome. i researched it obsessively for months and decided i had to get one, course they cost more than my car so i gave it a miss. 3 days ago you turned up on my recs and i intsta-subbed and watched every vid. (I had spent so long looking for your channel after that one vid.) I then see you make this absolute genius piece of work. so you know what i did? i bought a Rigid Heddle Loom. It's more my budget. I cant sit here and just watch. i just finished warping up. you have inspired me to do something i've wanted to do for 15 years but kept putting off. so i need you to know that when i said it was fucking stunning, i meant it with every fibre of my being. i could watch you make anything! keep up the amazing work.

Me watching this video: this is so cool! The blends that the yarns make are really interesting, I love understanding colour theory :) My monkey brain, seeing the light green in context of the other colours: where the FUCK did yellow come from??

Cashmere does not come from rabbits, it comes from goats! And the process is not brutal, the goats are simply shaved ❤️
