That is great to hear! Hopefully someday soon I can pick up an actual camera and capture more of the surroundings and multiple angles.

New to the channel, great video. I have the same bore gauge (511-733) however, I'm missing that measurements sheet I can still work without it but it's a lot of unnecessary trial and error. Could you please post a scan of that page (even a photo will do) here or the video description? I can't find that anywhere, not even on mitutoyo website.

Would you prefer the analog or the digital version from this bore gauge from Mitutoyo?
@gobble_gang6 ай бұрын
Analog is typically higher accuracy for this stuff! Not only do you get the seperate tenth increment lines, but you can see where in bewteen each increment the dial is at. Additionally, it's way easier to visualize runout on an analog as opposed to digital, making it a faster reference. But wait! There's more: you need to hold the tool very precisely to get an accurate reading, and you have to feel for it. An analog gauge makes way easier to feel for the perfect perpendicularity, which makes it even easier for getting good measurements.
