@tdaniels13 Wearing a pair of clean gloves for each resident is proper procedure in most homes..It cuts down on communicable diseases. Plus, a lot of residents have issues with bodily fluids "leaking" during transport due to the pressure exerted on their lower intestines & bowels.

This was a good video but it does not show you which strap to hook on which hook. Also, for future videos, when there are a lot of steps to a task, it is better not to list them by number. It takes away from the flow of the video. Thanks for posting this!

Your last step, to "safely remove the sling from the resident", is correct only if you'd just put the resident back into bed. What is the purpose of removing the sling at this point and how are you suppose to get it back under the resident while they are seated in a wheelchair? Without the sling under them you cannot put them back into bed! As a training tool this video is irresponsible with this instruction being the last step for transferring someone into a wheelchair with a hoyer lift.
