Never heard of it. I thought it looks like a tension regulation tool for crochet. Thanks, I learned something new. I am a beginner in learning to crochet. Maybe one day I could learn to knit. Blessings.

My first thought is "Does it pull on the back of the work?" so I'll go and watch your video about stranding colourwork!

did you get a cramp in your index finger the first times you used it?

It looks like bondage for the fingers.

so a person can only use a knitting thimble on your left hand. If not a continental knitter, the thimble is useless?

I imagine if you are a flicker rather than a thrower you could possibly use this on your right hand

Very helpful, thank you, I’m a continental knitter and find using a knitting thimble or the Boye finger guide (same concept) incredibly useful for tension and catching floats without twisting up the yarn - Norman on nimbleneedles has a great video on FairIsle colorwork in which he shows how to catch floats with the thimble
