You know John, you fished that parking lot stream several years ago and that is when I joked around with you asking if that Mexican place was any good and told you that you needed to go grab some tacos after you fished. Remember that? LOL That was when you caught that 3 lb bass there under the entrance to the parking lot and I was amazed you caught quality fish in that small stream there. This location is where I started following you. I had never seen you get that far down that stream towards the lake there, at least not at the very end. I loved seeing the rest of that stream in this video. Outstanding. You always have had a soft spot for this location. I think you had at that time about 22,000 subscribers. Look at you now. 164K and growing!!! Excellent video effort on this one.

Your skill with the bait caster has definitely improved. I couldn't believe some of those casts, especially the back handed roll casts. Your dedication was pretty on point as well. Backpack on the head, back pack over the tree then going under water to get under the tree. I think you're getting crazier. Stay safe! Blessings...

Just a thought .. with that big Mustad hook, I would likely crimp the barb a tiny bit to aid with the release. If you keep the pressure on the line, even if the bass go airborne, it won't dramatically affect the capture percentage. Great video

Great to see you circle back to an old favorite in this video. Of course you had to push through almost 6 feet of water. You'd have lost me there. I can swim but my underwater casting is awful...its the survival swimming taking over. I've got a fluke already tied on for Saturday morning. Blessings John

John that was a good looking creek and bass! I just bought me a Pelican PRW Catch 100, this is the most relaxing and stable kayak I've ever been in. Its performance is awesome, it glides so smooth and quite. I'm 250 and with a 36lb. thrust, I'd say it goes up to 4 miles per hr. with me. I would like to ask you to, try one out and video it using it fishing. God Bless you! (Glen). WV.

question: Do you fish all public land or do you get permission to fish private on a lot of these creeks. Or maybe the laws are different in your state. I just want to know how you approach finding you locations for fishing these creeks. Theres plenty of creeks where I live just mostly on private property besides the one that pass through parks
