Ms. Kristen, your videos are so helpful and encouraging so we can try and pleasantly fail with our Minc. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences.

Thanks for the video. I have some of this mist and i wasn't even sure how it worked but it was on sale, lol. I think the little plastic piece you found when you opened and removed the lid is supposed to be attached to the inside of the spray lid. It probably just became detached because of the stickiness of the liquid inside. I believe it is some kind of seal to help keep the contents from going where they're not supposed to. Or maybe to hold some part in place. It could be a spacer of some kind. If you haven't had any issues, it's probably not too important.

Beautiful results. Initially, it seemed like a lot of trouble just to apply foil to cardboard. "Why not just use glue?" I wondered, until realizing your method allows the Minc to perfectly match complex shapes and curves and completely skips the excruciatingly painstaking work of cutting the foil by hand. Now, your genius is clear. One question - after it's been through the Minc, how cleanly does the "excess" foil pull away? Does it always separate distinctly, or do occasional scraps of frayed foil overlap the edges?

Thanks, Keith! Yes, this is definitely one of the major reasons why the Minc is so appealing. You can just as easily foil complex shapes like brushstrokes, hand lettering, and other hand drawn images as you can more simple shapes and fonts. To answer your question about how cleanly the foil separates, sometimes there are small areas where the foil doesn't adhere, but I haven't had any problems with the foil fraying or not separating cleanly around the edges of shapes.

Can you fill a pen with this like to how you did in the “toner pen” video?
@kdotbecca5 жыл бұрын
Nai Destiny - Yes, you can definitely use the Minc Reactive Mist in the pens, as well. If you haven't checked it out, I have a video about that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWnWd4Sbg950l8k

Could you put the spray on a stamp to create designs?
@kdotbecca7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Neon Unicorn! I haven't yet tried the mist on stamps. Because both the paint and mist are pretty glue-like, I'm concerned that any excess would be difficult to remove from a stamp if it started to dry while on the stamp. It might also be tricky to apply to a stamp. If you're going for a look that's sort of weathered and don't need solid coverage, then you could spray it onto a stamp. But if you're looking for more solid coverage, you might want to use some sort of brayer to apply the paint in a very thin layer and then wash both the stamp and the brayer immediately, before the paint has a chance to dry.

Kristen from k.becca I got the kit with both and they do stamp with the clear stamps and I used alcohol to remove the excess I think the paint or the white medium work best and I just sponged it on the result is a more worn look but the lines came out well and text is legible.
