Only just found your channel and so glad I did. I started trying watercolour painting a few years ago but instead of improving, I just got worse so I gave up a year ago. At first I thought it was my age, 73 now, but now I think I was just expecting too much of myself and, maybe, I wasn’t attempting the paintings I needed to do, instead I was being too ambitious and trying to do detailed landscapes etc that were just beyond me. I was running before learning to walk. Well, from what I have seen of your KZbin videos, this is the place to learn how to walk, and maybe a little jog every now and again😊. I will be checking out your Patreon as soon as I have watched all your KZbin videos so I can get a feel for what is to come. Many thanks 🙏

It is common for those who start to paint with Watercolour put far to much pressure on themselves and attempt complicated compositions! Simple is best especially to build your confidence! Enjoy the tutorials here and be kind to yourself, small steps and definitely no running 🥰

I went into fear of painting, after watching and braking inner blocks, I created a wonderful tree, thank you, with lots of splatter with a regular brush, going to deep darks contrast made a great expressive art. THANK YOU ♡
