I just re-ordered the shampoo because I loved it that much, and decided to try both deep conditioners to see what the hype is about. Unfortunately, the leave-in and hair butter didn’t work for my hair, so I didn’t re-order them. Both felt waxy when dry, but the slip and smell of both products were amazing.

First I wanna say I’m hype that we had very similar routines now naturally and thanks to you lol. With the butter, would you describe the consistency as a light curl cream or an actual butter? And how do you think it is in regards to definition? I’m looking for a curl defining moisturizer

p.s. I’m sold on these lol. I’d get the DC if it wasn’t so small and I was in the market for a moisturizing DC. The leave in looks so promising but I just bought the TGIN one, which would you prefer?

I think the butter is a light curl cream, more than a butter to me.. it is a light butter in a sense. not thick like butters that have shea butter as its base -- those can be very dense. but the definition is good, i wouldn't say its the best i have ever used. Check out my 4c winter was day video, i give suggestions to curl definers and curl smoothie that are great at defining the curls. But i like this Leave in better than the Tgin in my opinion, especially because this one doesn't contain silicones.

the twisting cream is great for moisture and definition, the definition is a lot better than the butter so i think that is a good choice

Your hair turned out beautiful! I have heard nothing but great things about these products. Question 4 u? Are you high or low porosity? I am low porosity type 4c and have the absolute hardest time with moisture. I see you used the loc method. I prefer the lco, which seems to work better on low po hair from the research I’ve done.

I didn’t get those results. Buyer beware. The products smell great but the conditioner didn’t have enough slip. The leave-in didn’t have slip either and I definitely added water. I used heat and let it set for 20 mins. The twisting butter was the best of the 3.
