Lew's rods break in that spot all the time and it's why i stay clear of them, I'd buy duckett (jacob wheeler series) or dobyns they are some of the most reliable rods in my own opinion.

I have yet to catch one on the frog as well. Even though my partner and I caught 18lbs in our biggest 5 on the Roanoke last weekend. No frog eaters in the bunch.

Don't get me wrong .... I love LEWS, and about 1/3 of my rods are LEWS, but I've broke at least one of them a year. Their skipping reel and bb1 are my favorite of all, though.

Love the videos bro! I havnt been fishing as long as some but love the sport…I have a small boat so I can actually catch fish and get me off of those heavily populated banks in Ontario Canada.. typically fish with spoons, spinners top waters and sencos…I have jigs but could never commit for long periods of time as I never hooked one on it. I have a few swim jigs 3/8 what colours would you recommend? Does time of day water clarity etc play a big role? Or is it just the standard green pumpkin at all times will do the trick? Thanks buddy

Green pumpkin is always a good option!! I prefer sunfish colored swim jigs just because I feel like most of the shallow fish are keying on sunfish

I was not ready for that rod to snap lol, I jumped a little, that always sucks. Did you order that rod from Tackle Warehouse? I've had the worst luck ordering rods from them is why I'm asking, I've started ordering direct from manufacturers.

That rid was mad wrong. It wasn't splin set. That's what happens on a lot of manufacturers rods they make so many that they can't spline them all. That's why I started making my own rodsnot hard to make and I can make sure that the blank is splined right
