Ai art is really good for references and new ideas. I get artist blocks a lot and Ai art is super helpful with that.

That's what I love using it for. Less on the artist block side, but definitely for references and ideas. I love tabletop games, like Dungeons & Dragons, and will commission art for my characters, or my player's if I'm the DM. And sometimes we've used Midjourney to help come up with a better idea of how we imagine the characters, so getting the exact commission we want is a lot easier since we have a more visual idea of them to show the chosen artist for the pieces. I'm especially bad at describing what I am picturing to be completely honest.

I used Midjourney to create crazy rings made out of honey, purple smog, spiderwebs with a spider top, molten twisted rings. They're designs I'd wanna see made in real life somehow

Black opal rings can be found for much cheaper than the supposed affordable Bello opal"aka fake trash" they promote. Sure they have creative stuff, but way to over price in comparison to the real stuff

Its cool that the AI can challenge creators to make something they may never have thought about. Remember the AI can only make the image. It takes people with skill and knowledge to make the AI image real.

This company doesn't care about their customers. I have had possibly the worst experience that I have ever had with any company in my lifetime. I received my ring and it looked like it was made by a child. The craftsmen are outsourced, and obviously don't care about their work or product. I sent my custom ring back and have been waiting another 2 months for the replacement. Every time I even try to talk to "customer service" I am met with BS emails and lies. I've been told that my replacement would ship out "next week" like four weeks in a row now.

I also sent them emails that my ring would not glow in the dark. Their response was that it didn't glow in the dark because I had to charge it with a special flashlight... Personally I don't think you should advertise that stuff glows in the dark if you would require your customers to buy a special flashlight for the glow in the dark to work.

I think the ring is well done. The AI is interesting for getting new ideas and will only continue to improve. The comment about wasting gold was interesting. Keep on innovating. Love it!

To use the precious metal shavings you cast the shavings in epoxy mixed with some into with some black pigment and make a ring from it, or you could mix it with some glow powder when inlaying other things to make it slightly sparklier.

With the metal shavings, you should design a ring that looks like a gradient. Like having a sandy beach with gold and meteorite tones on your finger!

Patrick, I think you could have employed a slightly different approach that may work with less efforts but may need some tool design. The AI design basically is a boat outline filled. Really snazzy I think too and I do like the final outcome achieved. I am thinking that if you had a circular blade with a strong V profile, I think in one pass you could have the straight segement of the body, and a resulting V notch either end. From there a square plunge cut or file to transom the boat outline and done.

I always watch your videos and admire your craftsmanship in pieces of jewelry, the way you looking material and turn it into pieces of art is kinda amusing. Sometimes I wonder if you try something different like making the functional Ironman gloves with the level of your craftsmanship. Coz you know, iron-man suits are actually made from gold, and the glove looks like a piece of jewelry to me...

Hi, from another goldsmith’s perspective (student jewellery design with a previous background in goldsmithing), I love it. However, (correct me if I’m talking out of my student ass here, fellow goldsmiths) this method is wasting A LOT of unnecessary gold. I have a very similar design. Wax casting’s definitely a better way to do this. Great work though. I love it. Never seen that press-fit method, and I feel dumb for it. Also, I actually have a teacher at college who’s working on a post-doctorate about teaching AI to make jewellery. I feel VERY doubly about it.

We find that wax casting for our style of videos usually has viewers leave, so we do a lot of casting, etc behind the scenes to ship certain designs out but for videos we make them in more outrageous ways.

If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered an engagement ring on 11/29 and it is now 2/28. I still have nothing to show for the hundreds of dollars I spent. I contacted the company and was lied to on two separate occasions. Their commercials state if you are ordering for a special date to contact them which I did. I was provided a tracking number that shows a status of missent and I had to contact them once again where I was finally provided a working tracking number only to find out it was sent after I requested a refund so I could go somewhere else. Patrick Adair ruined my proposal and doesn't care in the least. Rebekah is the worst customer service agent I have ever dealt with. Whatever you do not purchase from Patrick Adair unless you want to be mislead.
