Using an embossing folder without a machine

I'm so glad I was tinkering around the web and I found your KZbin. I was beginning to think I would have to get an embossing machine to achieve what I wanted to do and low and behold there you were saying... This is brilliant, and extremely appreciated! I bought a small die cut machine thats opening is only about 3 inches wide, and haven't seen any embossing folders that would fit in it. I thought I wouldn't be able to do any embossing at all! Now I find your old video that is perfect timeing for me..Yayy! Thanks so very much!

I ordered my first embossing folder today thinking I didn't need a machine. Then I thought, 'what are you thinking, of course you need a machine!'. So on to KZbin to find the answer. And I did - thanks so much. I am with Enigma 01 in investing in the folders and quality card stock rather than a machine. My rolling pin doesn't take up near the space. Cheers!

Very useful information. I have a Cricut Explore for my cutting and am now contemplating getting into stamping and embossing. I can emboss this way and then cut with the Cricut which will save me both money and space. Thank you for demonstrating this.
