Wow thank you. I never thought of using virtual channels with my 8p in cubase. I would always re sample through my Apollo outputs back into Apollo inputs to save loading plugins in cubase

Please, don't use background music at all o just lower the level at least -6db. This is a tutorial video, not an advertising. Plus it is 13 minutes long. We really don't need the background music all the way. Just my 2c. Great tutorial for my new x8 anyway!! Thanks!

Hello, I am having a hard time getting my apollo twin quad with the new M2 macbook Pro to work with cubase, I have reach out via support ticket with no response just a video which I hve already done all steps and its not working

Thanks for that, very helpful. Anyone knows how to record the computer's audio inside cubase? I'm running my mac's audio in virtual 1 and 2 in console, but can't seem to send that to cubase. Thanks!

Unfortuneately this is in parts not adequate anymore by 2020. For one thing there is no such thing as VST connections anymore in Cubase Pro but only "Audio connections", for another thing there is no list of Apollos inputs appearing when right clicking the "add" button on the input page so there seems to be no way of connecting the UAD virtual channels at all in Cubase. This might have been a good video in its day but badly needs updating today! I alos totally agree with previous writer that the background music is only disturbing. You want your brain to work, not your fingers snapping...!

UA plugins are not showing in my cubase plugins list ....unfortunately this tutorial is not explaining what to do for that?

Guys, how would you go about setting up Console together with Cubase Control Room, especially in a Quad.1 setting? Because at the moment I can't get it to work (and it's making my head hurt). Cheers.

How you made it work? Same problem here with an Apollo x6. Can not get the Control Room to work with 3 pairs of monitors

Very nice tutorial. However, I really wish you would remove the music. It's alright for the intro, but the whole 13 minutes through? Gets on my nerves.
