Good work on the fix with the Autel TS508 and the MX 1-Sensors. It reminded me of the time when a Subaru Outback of that generation (albeit older) came into the shop with a blown-out right-rear tire and a dead TPMS sensor inside it. They were fixed since then.

Well done. Copy and program by OBD2 was just what I needed. Thanks Own the same TS508.

Wonderful video! Thank you so much for sharing. I just ordered an autel ts508wf which should arrive in two days. I’ll have to fix my 2005 Acura mdx too. Your video helped me a lot. Thank you!

The Subaru looks like its in great shape for a 2009. I think video quality was OK, easy to understand what you are saying and showing. You get the same kind of anything “quirky” sound when you hold the Go-Pro that I have sometimes. Hate when it happens. Wondering if there is a case that can prevent that. That TPMS tool seems like a great tool to have!

I was a little disappointed when I went to edit the video and it was so shaky I almost didn't put it up. I had the gopro set for 120 fps and so the stabilization was not very good. I now have it set for 60 fps or 30 fps so that I get a smoother picture. I'm glad I put it up now because I think it will help someone looking to use this tool to show what it can do. I was very happy with the results. It would have been over $200 dollars to have a shop do it. The tool kit with sensors was about $280 and I have lots of sensors left should I need them.

Why would you have not changed the sensors with the tires?
@mikesworld60 Жыл бұрын
You would, but the tires were mounted and balance by Costco and they wanted too much to put in new sensors. I paid less for the tool and sensors, and I also wanted to do it myself so I would have the tool and 4 extra sensors for later.

Hi, thanks for the video ! What is the main diff between TS408 and TS508 ? Can you explain how to break the tire bid at home ?
@mikesworld602 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure of the difference between them exactly you may want to google ts408 vs ts508 and find a chart. I ended up using a tire machine to break the bead. Thanks for the sub.
