That's a really cool concept. My only concern is that they're using harmful bacteria like e-coli. Especially when giving it to kids. I see that they are wearing gloves and I assume they properly educate the participants before letting them paint so it should be relatively safe. Does anyone know if e-coli (and other microorganisms used in these paintings) can be airborne? Would it be safer with a mask and eye protection? Thanks in advance.
@sunnykim92375 жыл бұрын
E. coli is actually a part of our natural lower intestinal flora. There are many strains of E. coli- not all cause infection.
@ph4tastic9505 жыл бұрын
e.coli is not airborne so don't worry (can't say the same for other microbes used that aren't mentioned). the petri dish is kept closed and sealed. and gloves are enough actually✌️

@EmaA-pu7nc5 жыл бұрын
Bad? Bruh, not all bacteria are bad, and I highly doubt they use the ones that can hurt you. If you yourself even painted with it, the lab would most likely have you wear full-on lab attire, and would have all their equipment sterilised after each use. They'd probably have strict regulations, too, because that lab wouldn't be legit if it didn't.

Many bacteria are harmless for humans, and some are even essential for us, like certain gut bacteria. E. Coli is not one of those...but as long as the correct procedures are followed everyone should be A-Ok
@mycelia_ow4 жыл бұрын
@@Dokey17 There's always microorganisms (including bacteria) in the air all the time, were always breathing them in. Most of them are harmless, you'd only get sick is an airborne pathogen were present. Or like in the cass of this video, the e coli can get picked up by wind and make it to your face I suppose, just do it inside.
