Desiree, I started watching you as part of my research on locing. I did start thanks to you, May 29, 2019. I am 62 years old and have gray never colored hair but due various medical conditions and medications my hair is not thick like it used be. I went all the way back to your beginning with braid locs and followed you every since. Yes, I definitely understood your explorations with your hair. I went to guy in Houston for coils loc to part ratio balance and my first wash. I really screwed up and went to a local salon "specializing in locs and loc maintenance. The stylist used some kind of a super glue and ignored my parts and had my hair like your two-strands locs. All I have used since then was your content because you never apologized or stuttered about your love of God and his Son Jesus whilst doing your vlogs. Thank you and do not let any "moving methods differences" (words for what is in the boxes rather than pictures of what is inside) do what our now adult daughter and son with 1st move, called "movers from hell obsessed". Thank God they called obsessed rather than possessed but I love how you and your spouse move in sync, different but in sync. It says a lot quoting your husband "first God, then love and marriage..." You guys could probably find a place of worship where you would more than qualify for leadership of its marriage and family ministry.

Yes indeed! I love using hair grease for a retwist like the old days. I experienced that locking gels doesn't make your hair loc but it causes maximum buildup! Purify water and hair grease is my best options for retwisting! I always noticed that water and hair grease makes my dreads look puffy/thick! Great video sis, keep it up!

People keep telling me “stay away from blue magic, it’s going to cause build up” truth be told, blue magic is literally the only thing that helps my hair stay moisturized along with my cream of nature leave in conditioning spray and doo gro hair oil. Anything other than that doesn’t help🤷🏽‍♀️ I wash my hair every two weeks and I don’t use a lot of grease just a little, so I really don’t think build up will be an issue but idk I’m only 5 months in on this journey 😂😂

@@heymsparker2816 no I haven’t had any buildup with the blue magic maybe because I only use it on my scalp and I only use very little, I don’t overload

I'm from Dallas,TX and it's gotten so expensive before i moved to Cali which its definitely expensive...but texas is good for people from east and west coasts not for people that born and raised there. Good luck though!
