I am almost 3 years in and I interloc every 8 weeks. Once or twice a year is crazy. My locs are very healthy and not thinning.

My locs look like a bob and I don't want it any longer. I'm older and have a lot of gray. I want to color the gray to more of a silver so that it will have more punch, jazz it up.

So I know braid locs are right for me this time around. I want my hair to be constricted and not swell and get big. I’ve had traditional sized locs like hers and the styles are just to limited! I also have find strands and know I’ll be losing a lot of my volume but once my hair matures… it’ll be full enough for me

My exact thoughts, tried this back in the day but decided to buy it again since it's so easy to get the shampoo, conditioner, and retwist gel together.

This was soo helpful! I silk pressed my hair and damaged the ends so two strand twists wouldn't hold so I am trying braiding. The ends are gonna be a challenge but I'm just not comfortable cutting them off just yet as I'd like to retain my length. Thank you so much for this video! It has been super helpful.

Respectfully, a successful detox is likely the hot, hot (not boiling) water. Also, Dawn dishwashing liquid which is used for oil spills(!) is so easy and amazing. Cheers.

I don't use oil on my hair, i dont use conditioner, dry my hair in the sun/outside and I purposely did my locs small! I do use agave nectar as a mist on the length of my hair mixed with water and I spray my scalp with witch hazel. My hair is almost waist lenth. This has veen working for me for years now.

You will surely wind up with a ton of build-up. It might not be today it might not be tomorrow it might be a year or two from now but I guarantee your hair will be full of buildup

I BEEN DREADLOCKED FOR 4 YEARS. MY ROOT BASE WILL UNRAVEL AND WILL NEVER STAY INTO DREADLOCK, SO I WENT TO AFRICAN BEAUTY SALON, AND SHE SUGGESTED INTERLOCK😊 WOW !! WOW !! AND WOW !! WHAT A DIFFERENCE AFTER 4 YEARS OF RETWISTING !! IT HELPED SIGNIFICANTLY!! BUT I LIKE MY ORIGINAL DREAD LOOK😊 SO I WILL JUST USE INTERLOCKING LIKE A BAND-AID , JUST ONCE A YEAR AND CONTINUE TO RETWIST. SINCE I CAN GO LONGER WITH INTERLOCKING, I WILL INTERLOCK EVERY 6 MONTHS THEN RETWIST EVERY OTHER 3 MONTHS WHEN NEEDED😊 P.S. INTERLOCK IS LIKE FOR PATCHING YOUR HAIR BACK IN PLACE. NOT FOR EVERY DAY USE. 10:09

Would you suggest retwist every 6 weeks is good?
@PlusVK223 ай бұрын
With interlocking, a 2 point rotation is much healthier and safer than a 4 point rotation. A 4 point rotation is just way too much tension.
