Crosstourer is a top bit of kit . Can’t see me changing as it’s the last of the best build Honda with minimal electronics to go wrong in my opinion.

By UK law a speedo must never show less than the actual speed, and must never show more than 110% of actual speed + 6.25mph. To ensure that they comply with the law and make sure that their speedometers are never showing less than true speed under any foreseeable circumstances, car manufacturers will normally deliberately calibrate their speedos to read ‘high’ by around 10%. So at a true speed of 30mph the speedo can read anything between 30mph and 39.25mph (usually 33mph). At a true 60mph the speedo can legally read between 60mph and 72.25mph (usually 66mph). Interestingly, the police know about this legislation so it is very unlikely that you will get a speeding ticket for traveling at an indicated 39mph in a 30mph limit or an indicated 72mph in a 60mph limit (83mph on a motorway)

Good review. Since owning the bike what's your view on overall performance? Do you like the power? How does it handle in corners? Would you recommend purchasing this bike. Thanks

Don Oz thanks for your comments.. I'm really pleased with the bike. Very comfortable. Handling is good for a big heavy bike & performance is good also, particularly good low down torque. I would certainly buy another.

Only considering a CrossTourer because of the DCT,i'd rather have a Super Tenere with cruise control over the manual...C/C is available for £430 for the Honda though!
