Filipino martial arts such as kali, arnis, escrima and pakamut predominantly focus on weapons. Other than self defense skills, training with weapons can teach you proper body mechanics which can be added to more sport based martial arts like MMA and Boxing. Here Sifu Singh shows us how to properly swing a stick and how to translate that to Mixed martial arts.

MMA is mixed martial arts. It is not one cohesive system. Some MMA gyms maybe emphasize Muay Thai more, or BJJ more, or western boxing. This video is showing the benefits of adding FMA into the "mix".

A gift has been shared to the World....this was kept by our ancestors for centuries away from others to pick and learn as it is very dangerous to use when WW4 starts using it against opponents using axe and spears.

FMA can hardly be used in MMA, one its weapon based, power is hardly emphasized in fma since stabbing and slashing dont really need much power, second, fma doesnt really care about rules, anything goes so long as you kill the other guy. So you might end up with a weak guy who pokes break arms and bites participating in MMA, thats just gonna get you banned from the sport.
