One of my favorite things about TGS videos is that you’re able to convey a complex idea in an intelligent informative manner whilst taking the piss and having a good time. Great viewing as always. Cheers gents 👍☺️

It's a fair point as we do see in the 'past' because by the time the light has entered the eye and by the time the optic nerve has sent the signal to the occidental segment of the brain and the time it takes the brain to evaluate what is occurring and the synapse response through the various nerves to pull the trigger and the minuscule time for the shot to be fired I can see this working... I don't know the mathematics but am sure anyone can look it up. Good vid guys!

Ed, I have to say thank you I’m going to give this a go, I’m one for shooting at the target so I miss as much as I hit, for some reason my brain hurts shooting at nothing if you get my meaning. Big thumbs up. But only if it works. 😜

Funny your opening crosstalk took me back to rabbit clays when a good friend said the same to me on a stand.''shoot the back of the clay''.It worked much better than the geyser of dirt when I shot in front.😈

Does it have to be Laura Ashley paper? I have some William Morris paper left over and was wondering if that will do. But in all honesty that was a fun video!!

Thank you for the great content Johnny! May I ask you a bit offtopic, I just bought a 28 gauge silver pigeon 1 based on your videos. I notice a certain sogginess (dragging sensation before engagement) of the second barrel trigger. Interestingly, it disappears when I switch the selector to second barrel first… Do you have any idea on why that is and if it is a common issue? Thanks and best wishes!! Dimitar
@tgsoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That doesn’t sound like a common issue - worth getting it checked out

You my friend need to discover the delight of Southern Comfort, I've been stuck indoors with torrential rain all day with a 15year old daughter who thinks I am the devil incarnate and I'm riding the chill wave 😉... I'm not saying TGS doesn't make it better but why waste the first half of the day 🤣

For whatever reason, as a right handed shooter I ALWAYS see more lead on a left to right crosser than I see with a right to left all else being equal. Obviously the lead to break them are the same, but the perception is different for me.

Your demonstration is slightly flawed. The aiming mark is static. A moving target would have travelled on futher in the time your brain told your finger and the guns lock time.
@The_Devil_Riser2 жыл бұрын
It’s gunspeed relative to a target so although in one aspect you are correct in another you aren’t , to pass by the clay with the same speed difference as what they done you would be moving way faster , yes the clay would have moved , however you would have moved even further, it’s not the best experiment for exact numbers , rather it shows you the principle
@John-uo1qf2 жыл бұрын
The trick is getting the brain, the trigger finger and the gun muzzle working together!

Rubbish. "Gun speed" does not have a meaning to it. Follow through speed would be more appropriate.

Because of this video my wife is divorcing me. Her Laura Ashley wallpaper is ruined and the plasterboard, waterpipes and electrical wiring are shot to pieces! The photo of the mother in law was awful anyway but it did stop burglars from breaking in.
