Using Heart Rate Technology to Elevate Student Engagement in Physical Education

Demonstration teachers Keisha Adams and Randi Seinprovide insight into how they use heart rate technology with their middle and high school Physical Education students. Students can be seen using this technology as feedback during their PE classes as they strive to meet predefined heart rate zones during class activities. Both teachers explain how they analyze student heart rate data to calculate grades as well as guide weekly planning for their classes.
