Trying out the Lucky Buck Mineral product from the Mar-Vo mineral company.
Was recommended by a friend so I decided to give it a try. Overall first glance at reading some of the information on the buckets and that came with the product, seems to be a pretty good trace mineral mix. No grains or by-products that you get in some of the other minerals out there. Deer will not over eat and the minerals should last longer.
Comes in 20 pound buckets for about $18 to $23 per pail. Great apple smell, can smell and taste it as soon as you start to crack the lid open.
Will update you on the progress and will see if I will continue to use Lucky Buck. Does come with a guarantee that if the bucks do not improve after two years, they will refund you purchase price up to $20 per bucket.

i made my own version (after research)....one part dicalcium phosphate,,,two parts trace mineral salt...one part loose salt...two parts dry molasses. All available at Feed stores. Approximately 300 lbs for $114.00 I shared with a camp neighbor buddy, It will be enough for years and years. Deer LOVE IT! The minerals promote antler and bone growth and overall health,

If you put a quarter of that out that is more then sufficient. I’d also use a stump they eat the stump! How has the product worked for you?

Works great as far as them coming back over and over, improvement in the size of the antlers; that is subjective. We have a lot of mountain bucks roaming around and we don't get to see the same ones year after year. I do think it helps though. Started using the stump method now. Thanks!

10 point, and big 8 on cam this year. Shot a 9 with my crossbow. I attribute it to Lucky Buck. Stump was gone and ground had a 1 1/2 foot hole if it. Been using it for two years now. Good video.

That dirt looks good enough for growing ginseng.

I know it's popular to grow it some areas, we don't hear about it where we are. That area over near the head of our spring may be a good spot also.

Hey! was wondering how you liked this product so far? Another Pennsylvania resident here and am looking for a product to help with bigger bucks on and near my hunting property. Thanks in advance!

+Speechless Dream Farm I would say it starts off pretty good, then fads quicker than other products I've used. That apple smell really brings them in for the first month, but I saw less activity later on. I like the product, good guarantee, but I think the key to Lucky Buck is the refreshing every 4 or 5 weeks. It doesn't take a lot on the refresh, just a few pounds will have them back in again. If you can visit your site easily then I would go with Lucky Buck. If you can't get back as often I would try the Imperial Whitetail 30-06 Mineral/Vitamin mix. Both good products. We have seen a growth in the size of the antlers since starting our pit. Good luck in PA!!
