Very helpful when troubleshooting a servo issue, vs a program issue.

Hey Shane, where is the drive enable input checking for studio 5000 firmware 21.11? The axis properties doesn’t have a drive/motor tab. It must be hidden somewhere else possibly? Thanks for the help and the video

Are you using a real servo drive axis? Or a just a axis that is not for a motor?
@traviscoleman95206 ай бұрын
Real axis. Not a virtual.

@@ShaneWelcher I have several hundered feet of chain driven by 3 servos. Each servo doesn’t run all the time. If the conditions are right, the one servo will drift backwards. Is there a command I can use to hold it at 0? I’d like to refrain from using the brake that’s on it cause it’d be on and off constantly.

@@danekline7913 sounds like you need a brake to help hold that much weight or a gearbox with a high ratio

@@ShaneWelcher so the motor does have a brake but I fear with how much stopping and starting its doing, I might create a new problem by engaging and disengaging the brake.
