Was so excited to watch this as in my head reading the title I was going to see workflow, tech choices like computer and SSDs backing up etc and maybe how it works for you on a shoot, wedding or even just being able to keep on top of work while off on adventures. Then I watched it and realised that you are probably not making content for 1 viewer ie ME. The video is great and helpful as always. In case couldn't tell these are things I am thinking over at the -minute having been desktop-bound for 15 odd years. Also bit of a discussion with the other half on should be bringing work on trips or taking break, too long to thrash out in a comment. Ah mate, there genuinely is nothing more than I'd love to do, than to talk about tech, workflow and how I "do a wedding" I but sadly this isn't the medium to do it. I thought long and hard about setting up a wedding photography channel but I have all on keeping up with this one 🤣🤣! Totally get that and honestly have a feeling that a wedding photography channel would fry your head mentally with the type of comments you tend to get. I will take you up on the offer to fire an email or something as while would love a coffee it would probably be a £4/500 round trip with a large proportion of that being a trip on the ferry. That said my Daughter live South Shields and my Cousins in York so you never know. @@Yorkshirepoptopadventures

Do it bud, I do that all the time, I have a drive out and work remotely (sometimes with no Internet so I can crack on with no disturbances and a cracking view with the kettle on)

Agree with the versatility, I’m lucky enough to have a nationwide contract with Tesco and Asda doing store maintenance. The van is ideal for the one night away jobs doing store surveys, saves a fortune in hotel costs.

Awesome mate, i did wedding videos for a while back in the 80’s 90’s around Yorkshire, big shoulder camera and a heavy battery belt and the old VHS tape haha what a faff that was. Could do it with a credit card size camera today 😂 anyway great content again mate 👍👍

It’s a fabulous idea to allow campervans and to make a modest charge even. I suggested to that to our daughter who’s getting married next year, first question was can you take the campervan 😂 I do fancy having a go at a week of work somewhere to see how I get on! Hey bud, yeah its solid as.... it has about 500 screws in it 🤣🤣! I just put batons on, made sure they were solid, anchored them to the cabinet, then to the plate that the bulkhead used to sit on as I never removed it. So the table I made myself, but the legs are from mega van mats in Pudsey, they are online too.. Good luck with the rest of the build and happy adventures

Hi mate, any regrets about removing the hob and sink? I'm in the process of converting now and caught in two minds on whether to have 1, both or none at all🤔

None at all mate... its so much better having the space on the side and not having to clean the hob every time... id never go back. But everyone is different. Live without it for a while and see how you go then you have the option of adding it afterwards rather than spending money on something you might not use

I used to mate, but the insurance company wanted so much money that it wasn't worth it. Even the YPTA magnetic signs I had on the van I can't use any more re: insurance. Tried a few companies and the difference with/without is huge, otherwise I would

How come you’re not using electric to cook? I’d imagine that Ecoflow is more than beefy enough?

Hey buddy, it totally is powerful enough, but when I'm off grid in winter, i tend to use gas (mainly) as solar isn't as good and the recharging of the battery wouldn't be high enough for a few nights. In summer, though, the panels on a sunny day can charge the ecoflow back up to 100% in a few hours.

I reckon I get a good 10 meals out of each bottle... usually buy around 6 cans per year.

Ah thats awesome mate... That power bank is great, just not hugely powered to run a laptop for a decent amount of time. Especially if you're running a fridge too. I'd suggest spending a little more money and getting a larger capacity one to be on the safe side. Plus hooking it up to solar so you have it charged up to full when not in use. You can't go wrong with the bluetti though, great power banks

The problem for me was the cost of insuring my van for business use. I can get it for my car at no additional cost, but not my campervan sadly.

I spoke to my insurance company (about using it for photography and youtube) and they said that because I'm not using the van to carry my customers or similar that it's just a vehicle to get me to work and back and doesn't need extra insurance. It would be different if I had it plastered with signage though, they said that my premium would rocket if it mentioned photography on the side of the van 🤣🤣

@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures that’s interesting because the issue seemed to be, like you, I’m travelling to different places of work rather than one. My van is modified so I’m a bit limited in choice of insurance company. I might have had 5 fruit trees in it to go and visit my ‘friends’ 😉

I am trying to sell my husband on an ecoflow for when the electricity goes out in our house. He Has concerns about the lithium battery. Have you had any issues? Help me sell him on it.

Haha as with all batteries they come with their risks. But so does the kettle or oven in your home. Everything that uses power has a risk attached to it. When we were all having power cuts around the country last year, I was the only one on my Street with Internet, lights and the TV on because I'd plugged the ecoflow in! 🤣🤣 winner winner chicken dinner...

Never enough rooms are a wedding venue anyway, always sell out, unless limits on people, enable more to stay with campervan spaces
