Using NanoVNA Saver to Connect NanoVNA to a Computer

When I was a guest on Ham Nuggets on Monday I received a comment from KB9MTD Aaron Webb about connecting the NanoVNA to a computer. Well, that's what I dipped my toes into. I have to admit that I, as usual, don't really know what I'm doing, but that's what amateur radio is all about.

Great video Morten! When installing on something other than windows make sure all repositories are updated. This helps with testing for sure and being able to possibly save previous scans to compare. Thanks for the mention! 73

Good video but one thing that you missed was re-calibrating after changing the frequency range.

There’s always the one mentioning calibration in every VNA video.

@@LB0FII guess some need to be reminded about it when changing the frequency range from around 1MHz to range of 200 MHz. (VE3SKN)

You can also get much better resolution! Both for results and also for calibration. You just divide your bandwith under test into (e.g. 10) segments but also have to do 10 calibrations than. But you can save the values for future use and you are much more precise in resolution for the measurements 🙂
