It's a good time to remove trees and stumps while the ground is wet, but not drenched. The roots seem to come out so much easier than if the ground is bone dry. (As long as you don't get stuck in any mud😮) I always liked when my dad dug down deep in the earth with his 'clee-track' bull-dozer, he often uncovered items that accidently got buried there from decades before. I ❤ to think about who may have lived on the land hundreds of years prior and what 'treasures' they may have left behind. That always spurs my interest when I see you-tubers digging with an excavator. I❤ that natural creek bed & rock wall on your property! Sweet!

Mike, The Best, award winning, KZbin Yacht footage ever, explained! 😂😂 Those Dam Cameras! Maybe it's worth using your phone for safe film footage, if possible. And, while your clearing a path to the new crossing, you should dig and check for Clay for the new pond build! 😃😃 With all that land, you may need to upgrade the Whappa-Choppa!

You are the "poster boy" for why I never take my tractor down in the woods after September first. I realize that anything you can get done now puts you ahead in the spring and the trees come out easier now but you risk getting stuck and making a mess.
@CaptainKleeman Жыл бұрын
Good point, should probably do nothing on account of being afraid to get excavation equipment stuck....lol
@SWAMPHUNTER644 Жыл бұрын
Only you can determine that but I've gotten stuck enough and somehow managed to get out to be cautious. It looked like you were on the verge of getting stuck several times. When I did get stuck, it left a mess.@@CaptainKleeman

hello from the Netherlands. with one or two of those large stones in the bucket of the front loader you have a nice counterweight for the backhoo . and with that weight in the bucket of the front loader low near or on the ground, you have built in extra safety against falling over on the slope by lowering the center of gravity. thanks for the video Mike. Kind regards, Hollandduck

I think you should build a wood chipper, even a 50cc moped engine is powerful enough for shredded shrub and a 125cc for anything short of trunks. It would make for a great video project.

Captain, if you come across a piece a 12 or 14 " pipe, make a weight for the rear of your 755. Put a plate on each end with a lift arm pin, weld to your pipe which is filled with concrete, and you have a weight which is heavy and short. Works great, much better than the brush cutter sticking out back. Keep up the Good Work!!
@HootMaRoot Жыл бұрын
Like the old timers did with tractors, concrete a 3point spreader bar with a bunch of scrap pig iron and steel

Cap’n you certainly have a divining rod for finding potential revenue streams! I hope this road build and rock garden start flowing freely. My neighbor is always on the lookout for unusual rocks. His cousin owns a feed store and garden center. They sell them to landscapers. I personally have never bought a rock that wasn’t crushed into gravel… but, I have toted a few up to the feed store to trade for deer corn! Thanks for looking after me… just glad I wore my fall protection this morning!

Very nice. Also glad to see that someone else has bent the 1 1/2" (or larger) steel that loader forks hang on. Of course, I had to use a significantly larger tractor to do it, but if you need a section of that steel that's shaped like a shallow "W" (and can get it out without cutting the frame), I'll be happy to let you have that one! Take care.
