Great video! Thank you for explaining. Can I make my own custom pest cocktail for petunia's, mums and geraniums? Will this hurt them? What will happen if it sits on the leaves in the sun? Thanks again.

You can certainly make your own cocktail for those plants. With some of the products, especially neem oil, you don't want to spray it if the outside temps are close to 90 degrees, as it can burn them.

Sure, but you need to start spraying early in the life of the plant to ensure a strong population of adults doesn't develop. If you get a ton of adults, there's not a whole lot you can do.

Can I just use liquid 7 dust on my veggie plants?

You could, but Sevin Dust is far from natural or organic and it tends to do a number on the beneficial insects, including pollinators. When applying Sevin, you also have to wait a considerable time before harvest because of the toxicity of the product. With these products, you can spray day before harvest and be good to go.
