Hey! i tried this with my PS5 controller and it didn't work. Any idea on on how to rectify this issue?

I've never tried it with a ps5 controller. I would defiantly make sure the cable you use to connect it to the computer has data transfer capabilities. sometimes Bluetooth also doesn't work in blender.

I'm trying to make a first person character controller. Any tips? The joystick sensor doesn't seem to be detecting the axis at all.

I'll post a video on a 3D FPS joystick controller. Hopefully it will answer your questions. The joystick controller doesn't work well for looking around, so you have to use some properties. Took a while to find a good system for it.
