💅🐍 Using Real Life Snake Skin in Nails 🐍💅

Hiya Duck,
Fay’s back and she is having snakeskin nails but we aren’t doing any old normal snake nail, we’re using real snakeskin!
I’m going to start off by prepping the nails with some clean-up solution and then gluing some tips on. Fay wants a more “sporty” length so I’m trimming the nails down and then filing them into shape.
I apply a thin layer of the acrylic, then cut out some snakeskin and whilst it’s still wet and sticky we’re going to press the snake skin on. I repeat this on the two outer nails.
We’re going to do a reverse smile line on the two other fingers. I put a thin layer of acrylic on the tip before then applying the Cola gel polish to the wall and feather it down onto the nail. After two layers of this, I applied another thin layer of acrylic and then again whilst its wet tap, tap the snakeskin onto the nail. I repeat this process with the other nail.
I then add some gold leaf to the nail by using a little bit of clear acrylic to stick it to the nail. Then I encapsulate all the nails with clear acrylic.
Top coat all the nails.
Fay then decides she does want bling so I’m going to buff off the top coat, apply the crystals then top coat all the nails again.

Kirsty makes everything look so effortless. She is truly the best at what she does. This set is quite possibly the most beautiful I've seen on Faye thus far. They were lovely before the crystals... But C'MON! Its Faye after all! The execution of snakeskin application and encapsulation was perfection. The crystal colors used and the pattern was organic and certainly never looked an afterthought. It's crazy that you did snakeskin nails because I recently saved a beautiful shed from my Kenyan Sand Boa. I was even thinking about using Fall colored jelly gels under the snakeskin. Great minds think alike! Main difference is that I don't use acrylic, will gel work just as well? Beautiful set!

Fay with short nails again 🥳 I remember when she said she wouldn't do short nails there not to short but there not Fay's length normally. You can't really have long nails with sporty activities it can be very painful if something happens. I think Fay can pull off any size nails cause its fabulous Fay we are talking bout. I love the nails they are fabulous 🥰😍 and I wondered if you could you real snake skin well you can. They look amazing with or without the gems it's whatever you like. my son has a python but the skin is soo light colored i don’t use its skin for nails. we have a big rat snake tho that’s wild and hangs out under our porch and it has the perfect skin for nails! i even gave some to my best friend a few months ago since she’s just recently got into doing nails and she was soo excited! i’ve used the snake skin to make french tips and even cut out little heart decals with them. there is soo much that can actually be done using them!
