I don't get the success message when adding the Shelly Dinner 2 running the latest firmware to HA OS6.2 and core-2022.7.5. Any idea why? What are your settings on the Shelly?

No, the Shelly RGB is what I use for LED strips. I will be making a video on that very soon.

It would depend on the string lights. Lot's of lights are called string lights.

The Dimmer 2 is a single channel dimmer so you would need one per light.

The extra "N" stands for "No eating in here" as in only used for holidays/special occasions 😂

It useless. It loses its config after power cut.

You may have a faulty unit, trying contacting their support. I have not had that issue and am very happy with it thus far.
