Which would you recommend based strictly on custom mapping between Lowrance hds9 live or Garmin echomap ultra?

So we often fish great lakes, mostly green bay. The lowrance units are in most of our boats. They have been great. Most of Wisconsin and Minnesota lakes are pretty detailed in lake chips. But go out to Montana or any river system and the lowrance will map out great details. I like to troll slowly as I map out the lake or river, Then go back and fish where I marked fish or caught fish. Then you can pin point structure the fish are relating too.

... Lowrance HDS Gen 3, 12" (3 of them) 2 on the console and one on the bow. I have been telling my fellow angler friends bout this for a long time. While Navionics can, at times, be close, it is NOTHING like the real thing when you "Map" an area. What I don't like is I lose the mapped area when the card subscription expires.I have to start over wit the new card. Is there a way to save it? Thanks, Jeff .

it should be saved to a separate card. You have to put in 2nd SD card.
