USING STENCILS ON FONDANT | CUPCAKE DECORATIONS | COOKIE DECORATIONS | INTHEKITCHENWITHELISA

Hi lovelies, today is friday and since it has become fondant friday on my channel, I am here with another fondant tutorial. In this tutiorial I will show you a simple technique for using stencils with fondant. This way you can create some beautiful cupcake and cookie decorations. YOU NEED:
I always use this fondant (amzn.to/2D0urlE) and I color it with these colors (amzn.to/2yrVl1X) to the exact color/shade that I need.
Powder sugar and cornstarch mix (I make mine 50/50)
Rolling pin for fondant (I use amzn.to/2NQA1cT )
Round cookie cutter (6cm diameter) (these two sets both have such cutter amzn.to/2UWN8zq and amzn.to/2v9y2bj )
Paintbrushes (food safe) ( I have a similar set to this one here amzn.to/2ONUxeR )
Pearl Luster Dust amzn.to/2MCeZBK
Gold Luster Dust amzn.to/2EXE2Jk
Silver Luster Dust amzn.to/2WqvJAq
Red Dry Paint amzn.to/2Wt1JnN
Pink Dry Paint amzn.to/2MzkjpL

Hi Khadra, you need to allow them to dry completely first, then they can be stored in a cookie box😊 No need to be airtight, just covered from dust.

So it’s best to apply the stencil before putting the fondant on the cookie?

Hi there, yes, it is the best if you roll the stencil onto the fondant, then when you dust it it will only dust those parts outside the stencil. I tried just putting the stencil on the fondant, without rolling it on it and it gives you a really messy result.

with what did u mix the color

Hi Nida, it is only the dry color that I used. I just prefer to take some of it and then kind of powder it in an empty lid to get the excess off before applying it on to the fondant.
