Love the stenciling on the balloons! Gives such an ultra-cool look to them. I'll have to keep that in mind. I also tie my bows upside-down. Not sure why they come out better, but they seem to require less futzing. Of course, with any twine that is twisted, most of my trouble comes when I pull the tails to make the loops smaller, and the loops twist up. Bow tying is definitely an artistic struggle! I think she did use only one brush, at least for each balloon--she rubbed it off on her stamp shammy to clean it. :)

I used one brush for my warm colors and one brush for my cool colors. I do rub it on my shammy in between to mostly clean it off. I try not to mix warm & cool because any residue kind of muddies colors and sometimes I do have to use different brushes but I only use two on this project.
