Perhaps the reason you needed a shim with the Sizzix Big Shot is that you didn’t use an Impressions pad instead of the clear top plate

Where do you get your paper ?

sorry for the late reply! I believe the paper I used in this tutorial is from Neenah brand.

Should also tell everyone, that if possible always use a clean, uncut acrylic for the top because any grooves, cuts or fibers from the plate can put distortions into your paper.

Is not working with Gemini. I have the same cutting machine as yours and is not working. Make the sandwich exactly the way you did, is not working.

the spacing between the rollers can be different from one machine to the other even if it's the same kind. We suggest using our guidelines provided in this video as a starting point to find what works with your particular machine :)
